  1. If you have a problem with DAS not keeping the montage window in focus, resulting in hotkeys not working until you get the window back in focus, create the following hotkey to get focus to the montage window. Use this hotkey before hitting an execution hotkey.

  3. DAS TRADER PRO ADVANCED HOTKEYS – A PRIMER [2024-04-15: Production v.5.7.9.3] − Speed and efficiency are paramount in the fast-paced world of stock trading, particularly day trading. As traders, we are constantly seeking tools to gain an edge in the market. One such tool that has gained popularity among day traders is DAS Trader Pro, renowned for its robust platform and advanced hotkey scripting capabilities. − As I share insights about DAS’s Advanced Hotkeys, I want to underscore that most of the knowledge I’ve acquired about this craft—like many others in the trading community—was generously shared. I must acknowledge that I have no official affiliation with DAS Trader Pro software and that my present information is based solely on personal experience. − This presentation serves as my way of giving back—a small contribution to the community that has provided me with so much. Everything discussed here is intended for educational purposes only. It's crucial always to conduct your due diligence and independently verify any details, as this responsibility ultimately lies with you. The concept − The purpose of this exercise was to create a set of hotkeys for my trading. My hotkeys came from various good Samaritans willing to share; not all are equally effective. Understanding the complexity of the script itself was challenging at first. It's essential to test your hotkeys before trading, as you may realize they are not working as intended or don't meet your specific needs. − I set out to create a single hotkey script to fulfill most of my trading requirements, from buying options calls and puts to trading shares of stocks, long or short, while managing risk. The accompanying Excel spreadsheet allows you to input your specific settings. Want to trade stocks, long or short? Options, buying Calls, or Puts? Adjust risk levels? It’s all there. You create a script that aligns precisely with your trading style by customizing these parameters. Script Flow In this section, I will summarize the key steps in the script, from initializing variables to setting up the trigger order based on the defined trading strategy. 1. Initialize trading variables using the accompanying Excel spreadsheet (risk per trade, position size, price offsets, etc.). 2. Check trade bias: a. If LONG: Calculate the buy price and set up a SELL stop-loss order. b. If SHORT: Calculate the selling price and set up a BUY stop-loss order. 3. Compute position sizing: a. Account-based sizing uses percent position size, buying power, and risk percentage. b. Risk-based sizing using fixed dollar risk or percentage risk. 1. Dollar Risk : 2. Percent Risk 4. Adjust position sizing for options/stocks trading and ensure sufficient funds. 5. Determine minimum position size based on the lesser of account-based or risk-based sizing. 6. Prepare order details (price, route, time in force). 7. Execute or load the appropriate BUY or SELL order based on trade bias and order status. 8. Set up trigger order with stop type, price, action, and quantity. How to use the Script (please see prerequisite section) Using the script is straightforward if the script is linked to a hotkey: Double-click on your chart at your desired stop-loss price. Fire the hotkey linked to the script Conclusion In the exhilarating world of stock trading, where split-second decisions can either make or break fortunes, speed and efficiency serve as our trusted allies. Time saved is not merely a commodity but the defining factor between seizing an opportunity and watching it disappear. Cross-verifying information remains wise, just as one inspects a parachute before taking the plunge. This presentation humbly supports the trading community by fostering growth through education. Connect with me on X (@ItoThetrader), where I will do my best to address some of your questions/bugs and suggestions and try to improve. Happy trading! Despite my best efforts, there may be some errors in this document. I apologize if you come across any. After all, making mistakes is human, and I am only a mortal armed with a keyboard and a spellchecker. Download the accompanying Excel file Ito DAS Advanced HotKeys Primer v0.16.6.pdf

  5. Hi Community, first of all, I have to say you all are awesome! I am so happy I found this community! I am new to DAS Trader, and was wondering is there is a way to have the stop loss order trigged in the premarket and after hours sessions. I am currently using the equalized hot keys with R:R orders, but the stop loss does not trigger in the pre-market, it is possible to have it trigged in the non regular hours? Thank you very much, Emanuel P.S. Please feel free to delete this post if it is duplicated.
  6. I made the switch from DAS back to thinkorswim (tos) - here are some observations that might be of help to traders who are comparing DAS to thinkorswim SIMULATOR DAS simulator is probably the best realtime sim out there. The SIM is just an account like a live account - You just switch the account to the one you want to trade in. Between SIM and live - it will feel exactly the same experience. TOS Papermoney (simulator) - the fills are really bad - it is counter intuitive - you would think that the fills would be super fast because it is a sim - but not. so I quickly switched from TOS sim to TOS live and started trading with a very small number shares - early on in my learning process. To switch from Live to Papermoney you will have to restart TOS. HOT KEYS TOS does not have elaborate hot keys like das - I made the switch - I use active trader on TOS like most TOS traders do - check out this video for the limited hotkey setup for TOS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKDoAFafN78 CAMARILLA DAS has built in CAMARILLA pivots You can script CAMARILLA pivots on TOS https://usethinkscript.com/threads/camarilla-pivot-points-day-trading-system-for-thinkorswim.12988/ i have compared DAS vs TOS cams (based on the script linked above) and they match very closely for stocks - (for futures they may not - read the explanation here https://usethinkscript.com/threads/camarilla-pivot-points-day-trading-system-for-thinkorswim.12988/ ) i use tos - i have separate charts plotting cams with/without premarket data and choose the one like @thor explains in this video https://youtu.be/1O5G4rhIJRA?si=fMhtqFD2hqhc6Hdx The gist is that - look at cams w/wo premarket data before the market opens and based on alignment choose the one that fits better. LEVEL 2 DAS has really good level 2 - you can pay more and expand it to ARCA and IEX TOS level 2 is a joke compared to DAS TIME AND SALES DAS has really good T&S TOS T&S is decent - I have compared with DAS and found that DAS order flow is smoother - but TOS T&S works OK. COST DAS $150 per month min platform fee + the charges from your broker for transactions TOS FREE platform + FREE transaction fees for stocks - if you have a Schwab account - you can create a Schwab account with with very little money options cost $0.65 per contract per transaction FILLS DAS fills are considered superior than tos. TOS fills are decent from my experience - there are studies that show that TOS fills are fast. to me the fills are super fast sometimes and decent most of the time. WORKS ON A MAC DAS windows primarily - can make it work on a Mac with parallels TOS works on Mac, Windows, Linux out of the box CPU, RAM REQUIREMENTS DAS is light on cpu and ram resources - so any off the shelf windows laptop with 16G of ram will be plenty. However, if you want to connect multiple monitors or broadcast like the moderators, then you need a dedicated graphics card and more RAM. TOS is a beast when it comes to CPU and RAM usage. Get the latest CPU and as much RAM as you can afford. A MAC with a M3 chip and 24 or 36G RAM is what I would use as my TOS machine, if I were to buy one today. CHARTS & TOOLS DAS look and feel of DAS is dated - like a 20 year old windows 95 application - configuring the charts with multiple windows is a struggle and unexpected craziness can happen with your layout. But essential chart studies are available on DAS. Options trading on DAS is available but not as good as the TOS interface. DAS has limited stock scanning capability. TOS excels with charts, layout, chart studies (countless). I was able to replicate all the studies that I had on my DAS charts on TOS - most of them included with the TOS platform - others with a little bit of scripting. Link to Camarilla pivots script above. TOS also has extensive analysis tools, news and fundamentals info. also CNBC TV (with about 40 sec lag) TOS has a very sophisticated stock/options scanning interface with the ability to convert your scans into watchlists that update automatically. Overall, TOS wins.
  7. comments from BBT community: Alfredo 3/9/2023 @ 12:48 pm @Paras. It´s possible to have 2 different brokerage accounts in DAS? (IB + TDameritrade). My other question is if you know COBRA trading. Thanks trader0 3/9/2023 @ 12:50 pm @Alfredo Separate DAS apps for TDA, IB $150/mo for each Bandit 1/24/2023 12:21 pm @Paras thanks for inspiring me to move to DAS-TD and taking my coms away!! I trade the open and actually feel like I get better fills than IB, plus I've had shorts on several occasions where IB has not. So thank you:) MomoTrader 3/1/2023 3:13 pm @StephenMeowkmus @Hans I moved from DAS-IB to DAS-TD and am very happy and wish I had done it earlier. At the open, I do find a milli-second delay with DAS-TD, but not significant enough..I am a momentum trader and do quite a bit of scalping at the open..no big complaints. he zero commissions makes it really worth it. NVDA 3/1/2023 @ 3:22 pm @Hans late to this discussion but there are several studies out that show you et better fills with TD than IB. MomoTrader 3/1/2023 @ 3:33 pm @MasterChief https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=4189239 MomoTrader 3/1/2023 @ 3:34 pm @Hans not arrguing against your experience..I myself felt a milli-second delay in fills with DAS-TD (vs IB), but seems the fill price seems to be better with TD per those studies.. MomoTrader 3/1/2023 @ 3:36 pm @Peter_laptop ...just to clarify, DAS is not DIRECT ACCESS Trading with IB & TD..Only Direct routing. They are Direct access with market only with native brokerrs using their API Hans Contributor 3/1/2023 @ 3:36 pm @Peter they were just showing that studies have shown that TD is better fills than IB. nobody was pushing one or the other, I have both Shelley 3/1/2023 @ 3:37 pm TD customer service is excellent. I was not impressed with IB's customer service. David76 3/2/2023 @ 11:27 am I don't think I understand how DAS is calculating trades. At the start of the morning I will position into 4 stock, but will has between 6 and 8 tickets. MomoTrader 3/2/2023 @ 11:30 am @David76 every transaction is counted as a ticket ..like if you short 500 shares and broker breaks it to two 250 share lots, thats two tickets... MomoTrader 3/2/2023 @ 11:31 am @David76 IB was notorious for such splits..and charged commission for every ticket..not seeing that too much with TD Lori S 3/3/2023 @ 3:18 pm DAS is $120 and then the data for TDA was going to be another $150 - I thought trader0 3/3/2023 @ 3:19 pm @Lori S No I have DAS-TDA - switched from DAS-IB - same cost for both trader0 3/3/2023 @ 3:18 pm @Lori S makes sense - DAS is $150 /mo for DAS-TDA and DAS-IB with TotalView, ARCA Lori S 3/3/2023 @ 3:19 pm ok so I would have the same cost, just less commissions... trader0 3/3/2023 @ 3:19 pm @Lori S yes DarkMoon 3/17/2023 @ 11:45 am I paid for both DAS-TD and DAS-IBKR for a month and ran some stats...after comms, TDA won out. Hans Contributor 3/17/2023 @ 11:39 am I strongly suggest using TD w/Das instead of IB. the fills are good now and the comm's savings is a life saver while you learn Hans Contributor 3/17/2023 @ 11:47 am @John I've had both and there is sometimes a slight delay getting filled on TD with das. There are independent tests that show better fills on TD but I don't think they are taking the delay into consideration. Your strategy many times requires very fast fills. Maybe TD isn't the best fit for you. But why not spend $150.00 on a month of Das with TD and see for yourself. If I had started with Das TD, I would have saved thousands in comms Hans Contributor 3/17/2023 @ 11:53 am @John_H a couple traders here in chat were insistent that I was wrong about TD Das because independent tests have shown best market order fills with TD. I traded them side by side and sometimes Das Td is delayed, its that simple bv 3/17/2023 @ 11:41 am TD ameritrade is not available to Canadians but TD investing is trader0 4/27/2023 @ 1:52 pm @Jamie @Korey DAS-TD - in my case it took 1 day to get marked as PDT (with number of trades that exceeded the limit) and 2 days to get the 4x margin on day and 2x on overnight - automatically trader0 4/27/2023 @ 2:02 pm https://dastrader.com/docs/supported-functions-by-das-ib-and-td-ameritrade/ here it says - ^TD acknowledgement is above a microsecond delay and so some hotkey orders may get rejected. The microsecond delay is not a problem for me even when trading ORBs
  8. Hi all, apologies if this has been asked but I can't see it listed anywhere. Does the BBT Das Simulator (https://bearbulltraders.com/order-das-simulator/) include the replay feature or is that only available in the live verison? Thanks
  9. Greetings all, Two DAS (latest 5.6.4.13 Oct release, simulating only) questions hoping for help with: 1) I notice Andrew and others have moving X Y gridlines / crosshair that follow the cursor in charts and show additional data on the side and bottom where the gridline goes. If that doesn't make sense and you are familiar with Trading Views charts that's what I'm talking about, see trading views screenshot please. 2) Is there anyway to drag a chart around by holding down the mouse button or other button, again like one can by default in Trading View? I find this more natural than zoom in / out combined with scrollbar at the bottom - which seems to be pretty much how you view them in DAS. I went through the YT tutorial for Andrew's charts and thought that might give me #1 but it hasn't and I can't find the option if it exists, nor have my searches dug up anything on #1 or #2. thanks in advance
  10. Hello Traders! hope all of you are well. I am posting here this video of Maxout Trading. Some one knows it? Someone have had worked with it? Or any one knows about any similar algorithm? I am really interested in this algorithm. Thanks and have a Great Day!
  11. hello, When I try to switch to replay mode I get an "no permission for replay mode" error, looking for a solution. I have DAS AMTD Version 5.6.4.15 connected to Ameritrade, with the Deluxe Package. I am fully connected to AMTD and everything seems to be working fine there. My understanding is DAS packages include the replay capability, e.g. from DAS AMTD package page "(All packages includes paper training account with live accounts)". My accounts window shows my AMTD account number and what I believe is a training account starting with TR* . Not sure if it's necessary but I select that first in the Montage, which is how I understand one switches accounts. Am I missing something here? thank you
  12. Quick question. When I'm flipping from stock to stock on the Market Viewer, I have to click on each one. It would be cool if I could scroll up or down in the list with a Hot Key. Is this possible? Thanks.
  13. Hi, I'm a new memeber here. I'm trying to start small and not complicate with partials and share size. I'm comfortable trading by defining how much capital i want to use per trade, stop loss and profit target. I'm planning to start with a small capital and I don't want to spend time calculating how many shares I could buy. I tried the current risk based hotkeys. I understand It's a great tool but I feel like i'm still not at that point in my trading journey. Does anyone have/know hot keys where I can say ok use 3000 USD to buy me this share and set the stop loss at x.yz and take profit when it hits y.xz. I really liked the hot key where you could double click for your stop loss and it calculates how many shares you could buy. Only problem I have is I want to define my capital/BP. Even in simulator, I don't want to use all I have, I want to see what happens when I use only 10k because that's all I will be able to use when I go live. Thanks in advance.
  14. Hi, I'm experimenting with a tabbed desktop setup for when I have to use DAS on my laptop. It seems buggy however, unless I'm missing something. Here's one example which I also captured in the attached video. I have three tabs, everything connected to one montage on the first tab, all windows positioned where I want them. Now with no windows currently selected, when I click on a chart in the first tab it maximizes it for no apparent reason, I re-window it, then if I go to the third tab I see it's minimized my chart that previously was maximized. I re-maximize that chart, go back to the first tab, click on a chart and it again it maximizes it for no apparent reason and the cycle starts over again. I'm other seeing similar things to this that I can't find any reason for. I'm new to DAS so I'm wondering if I'm missing something here or if it's just buggy with tabs? thanks 20211222_194730.mp4
  15. Hi, I love Kyle's Das Equalizing Hotkey.... I am totally clueless about scripting. I want so badly to set a trigger limit Ask Buy with the equalizing hotkey stops all calculated so that i am waiting for the price to trigger (example during a breakout). However for the current Kyle's Das Equalizing Hotkey, once you execute the hotkey, the price gets immediately triggered. I would want to engage anyone who could help for a fee. Really really appreciate. Thank you. Important Hotkey for Day Traders: EQUALIZED RISK PER TRADE on DAS Trader Pro - YouTube (Btw Kyle if you are reading this...i love your hotkeys so much...am forever grateful )
  16. IMPORTANT NOTICE - 2021/12/08: I've noticed some major issues with interacting with DAS this way - a method I usually try to avoid at all costs, the User Input layer - where the script misfires and ends up interacting with the montage (in my test case, it canceled a bunch of Open Orders I had in place, including my stops), I feel that this is too major of a potential issue to recommend. Because of that, I do NOT recommend using this script. If there's enough interest (added a poll), I may replace it with a proper program that doesn't have to interact with DAS via the User Input layer. I'm leaving the script linked for REFERENCE ONLY. If you still feel that a utility like this is useful and want to see me create a better (and much safer) way of doing it, please vote in the poll. ----------------- Okay, I think I've got this in a decent enough state for an initial release, so here it goes, hopefully we don't break anything and if we do, I'm not responsible. Might not be the most elegant because it's using AHK's script syntax and I'm not that familiar with it ... in fact, I'm not fond of it. What it is: It's an AutoHotkey script that will detect if DasTrader.exe is running and then send a sequence of commands to export the Trade Logs (Orders, Tickets, Trades). This can be further automated using Windows Task Scheduler (instructions below). By default, the save-to folder is in your My Documents \ TradeLogs \ YYYY-MM-DD, but this can be changed by editing the top line of the script (see Config section below). As a note, if DAS is not found to be running it will try to start and login before proceeding. It uses the machines local DATE, so be aware of that as your exports will save to a date relative to the local timezone. Instructions for Configuration: VIDEO Tutorial: This script was covered in the 11/22/2021 Monday Tech Class, which can be found here (when it goes up): https://bearbulltraders.com/course/technology-monday/lesson/kyles-tech-webinars-2/ For the script to run, you'll need to download AutoHotkey from https://www.autohotkey.com Run the installer and choose "Express" install, unless you know what you're doing. Download the relevant script file here: Disclaimer: The following script is provided for REFERENCE ONLY and is not recommended for use at this time. If you choose to do so please note that you do it on your own accord. No warranties/guarantees and it is unsupported. v1.0: DOWNLOAD (Please see the warning at the top of this post) Unzip the download to a folder of your choosing, for simplicity sake, let's put it in a folder C:\scripts\ [you may need to create this] Now if you have DAS Trader Pro installed to C:\DAS Trader Pro\ and you don't mind the default save directory of your My Documents\TradeLogs\, you don't need to configure anymore and you can jump to the automation portion. IF you don't have DAS saved in C:\DAS Trader Pro\ or you want to change the save locations, right-click the DASExportTradeLogs.ahk file you unzipped and go to "Open With" -> "Notepad" (unless you have another txt editor of your choice, just don't use WordPad or MS Word). On the top of the file, there are two variables "logoutput" and "dasfolder", you can edit the right-hand side to a value of your choice. By default, these are set to these values: ; Default Settings logoutput = %A_MyDocuments%\TradeLogs\ dasfolder := % "C:\DAS Trader Pro\" ; Uncomment (remove semicolon) to make your own. ;logoutput := % "C:\Trade Logs\" ;dasfolder := % "C:\DAS Trader DEMO\" If you want to change these folders, uncomment the lower variables by removing the semicolon and edit between the parenthesis. Example edits below: ; Default Settings logoutput = %A_MyDocuments%\TradeLogs\ dasfolder := % "C:\DAS Trader Pro\" ; Uncomment (remove semicolon) to make your own. logoutput := % "C:\MY TRADELOGS FOLDER\" dasfolder := % "D:\MY DAS INSTALL LOCATION\" AUTOMATION: To automate this script, you need to use Windows Task Schedule Go to the Start Menu, type: Task Scheduler Once it has launched, on the right hand pane under "Actions" click "Create Task" In the dialog box that has popped up, the tab will be "General" Name: Give it a friendly name you may remember, I chose "DASTradeLogsForLoveOfKittens" Leave "Run only when user is logged on" selected Switch to the "Triggers" tab Example screenshot below: In "Triggers", select "New..." button towards bottom. Set: Begin the task to "On a schedule" Set to "Weekly" and select Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Under "Advanced Settings" Check: Stop task if it runs longer than: 5 minutes [type it in] Check: Enabled Hit OK Example Screenshot below: Select the "Actions" tab and hit "New..." alongside bottom. In the "New Action" dialog: Action: Start a program Program/Script box, copy and paste the following: "C:\Program Files\AutoHotkey\AutoHotkey.exe" In the "Add Arguments" box, type the location of our script and the name .. for this tutorial, we unzipped it to C:\scripts\DASExportTradeLogs.ahk Hit OK Select the "Conditions" tab and set .. Checkbox on "Start the task only if the computer is idle for:" Set to your choice, 10 minutes is a good number. Checkbox on "Wake the computer to run this task" See screenshot below: Switch to the "Settings" tab Leave checked "Allow to be run on demand" Check: "Run task as soon as possible after a scheduled start is missed" Check: "Stop the task if it runs longer than:" and set to 10 minutes Leave the rest as is, see screenshot below: Hit "OK" until you're out of the task creation screen. All done. You can test to make sure you got the parameters right by finding the task name you assigned it in the "Name" column, right-clicking, and choosing "Run". Hands off as it does it's thing. For best results, run DAS Trader and navigate to the main menu -> Trade -> Reports, then set your settings to be like the following screenshot, as a note check "Show training orders/trades" if you want to include both SIM and LIVE account (unchecked is just LIVE account). I'm sure I forgot something ... ChangeLog: 11/24/2021: Initial Release
  17. So I have to give credit to @KyleK29 for helping me a few mornings just before the open to get these working. Thank you so much Kyle for helping me along. At the time of writing this I'm using Das Trader Pro version 5.6.4.11 I'm a dad with 3 little kids. I'm still in paper trading phase and I don't feel like I get enough practice during the opening before I have to get the kids ready for school. So the replay mode is key for me to be able to continue my practice after hours. These scripts are a mod on the scripts provided in this post I am mainly using the % scripts but I also made this work for $40 R entry. Explanation Original 20% Long Script (Stop only works during open market) StopPrice=Price-0.01;DefShare=BP*0.97;Share=DefShare*0.25*Price*0.002;Price=Ask-Price+0.01;SShare=Share/Price;Share=DefShare-SShare;DefShare=DefShare+SShare;SShare=Share;Sshare=DefShare-SShare;Share=0.5*SShare;TogSShare;ROUTE=LIMIT;Price= Ask+0.05;TIF=DAY+;BUY=Send;DefShare=400;TriggerOrder=RT:STOP STOPTYPE:MARKET PX:StopPrice-0.3 ACT:SELL STOPPRICE:StopPrice QTY:Pos TIF:DAY+; The part that needed to change was at the end where DefShare=400 So we replaced this... DefShare=400;TriggerOrder=RT:STOP STOPTYPE:MARKET PX:StopPrice-0.3 ACT:SELL STOPPRICE:StopPrice QTY:Pos TIF:DAY+; With this... DefShare=Share; Route=Stop; StopType=Market; Share=DefShare; TIF=DAY; SELL=Send; DefShare=10; And presto! Stop orders now work in replay mode. Here's the Short version DefShare=Share; Route=Stop; StopType=Market; Share=DefShare; TIF=DAY; BUY=Send; DefShare=10; Here are the scripts I'm using KEEP IN MIND THESE ONLY WORK IN REPLAY MODE!! DO NOT USE THESE FOR LIVE TRADING!! I ACTUALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN BUT KYLE WARNED ME! LONG 20% StopPrice=Price-0.01;DefShare=BP*0.97;Share=DefShare*0.25*Price*0.002;Price=Ask-Price+0.01;SShare=Share/Price;Share=DefShare-SShare;DefShare=DefShare+SShare;SShare=Share;Sshare=DefShare-SShare;Share=0.5*SShare;TogSShare;ROUTE=LIMIT;Price= Ask+0.05;TIF=DAY+;BUY=Send;DefShare=Share; Route=Stop; StopType=Market; Share=DefShare; TIF=DAY; SELL=Send; DefShare=10; 50% StopPrice=Price-0.01;DefShare=BP*0.97;Share=DefShare*0.25*Price*0.005;Price=Ask-Price+0.01;SShare=Share/Price;Share=DefShare-SShare;DefShare=DefShare+SShare;SShare=Share;Sshare=DefShare-SShare;Share=0.5*SShare;TogSShare;ROUTE=LIMIT;Price= Ask+0.05;TIF=DAY+;BUY=Send;DefShare=Share; Route=Stop; StopType=Market; Share=DefShare; TIF=DAY; SELL=Send; DefShare=10; 100% StopPrice=Price-0.01;DefShare=BP*0.97;Share=DefShare*0.25*Price*0.001;Price=Ask-Price+0.01;SShare=Share/Price;Share=DefShare-SShare;DefShare=DefShare+SShare;SShare=Share;Sshare=DefShare-SShare;Share=0.5*SShare;TogSShare;ROUTE=LIMIT;Price= Ask+0.05;TIF=DAY+;BUY=Send;DefShare=Share; Route=Stop; StopType=Market; Share=DefShare; TIF=DAY; SELL=Send; DefShare=10; $40 StopPrice=Price-0.01;DefShare=BP*0.97;Price=Ask-Price+0.01;SShare=40/Price;Share=DefShare-SShare;DefShare=DefShare+SShare;SShare=Share;Sshare=DefShare-SShare;Share=0.5*SShare;TogSShare;ROUTE=LIMIT;Price= Ask+0.05;TIF=DAY+;BUY=Send;DefShare=Share; Route=Stop; StopType=Market; Share=DefShare; TIF=DAY; SELL=Send; DefShare=10; SHORT 20% StopPrice=Price+0.01;DefShare=BP*0.97;Share=DefShare*0.25*Price*0.002;Price=Price-Bid+0.01;SShare=Share/Price;Share=DefShare-SShare;DefShare=DefShare+SShare;SShare=Share;Sshare=DefShare-SShare;Share=0.5*SShare;TogSShare;ROUTE=LIMIT;Price=bid-0.05;TIF=DAY+;SELL=Send;DefShare=Share; Route=Stop; StopType=Market; Share=DefShare; TIF=DAY; BUY=Send; DefShare=10; 50% StopPrice=Price+0.01;DefShare=BP*0.97;Share=DefShare*0.25*Price*0.005;Price=Price-Bid+0.01;SShare=Share/Price;Share=DefShare-SShare;DefShare=DefShare+SShare;SShare=Share;Sshare=DefShare-SShare;Share=0.5*SShare;TogSShare;ROUTE=LIMIT;Price=bid-0.05;TIF=DAY+;SELL=Send;DefShare=Share; Route=Stop; StopType=Market; Share=DefShare; TIF=DAY; BUY=Send; DefShare=10; 100% StopPrice=Price+0.01;DefShare=BP*0.97;Share=DefShare*0.25*Price*0.001;Price=Price-Bid+0.01;SShare=Share/Price;Share=DefShare-SShare;DefShare=DefShare+SShare;SShare=Share;Sshare=DefShare-SShare;Share=0.5*SShare;TogSShare;ROUTE=LIMIT;Price=bid-0.05;TIF=DAY+;SELL=Send;DefShare=Share; Route=Stop; StopType=Market; Share=DefShare; TIF=DAY; BUY=Send; DefShare=10; $40 StopPrice=Price+0.01;DefShare=BP*0.97;Price=Price-Bid+0.01;SShare=40/Price;Share=DefShare-SShare;DefShare=DefShare+SShare;SShare=Share;Sshare=DefShare-SShare;Share=0.5*SShare;TogSShare;ROUTE=LIMIT;Price=Bid-0.05;TIF=DAY+;SELL=Send;DefShare=Share; Route=Stop; StopType=Market; Share=DefShare; TIF=DAY; BUY=Send; I hope this helps someone! 18. Hi guys, i'm new to the stock market and just wanna ask something regarding the hotkeys, i've went through the hotkeys file that kyle made and know there is a hotkey that is 1 to 2 risk reward be it long or short. But is there a way to modify the command such that i just want it to auto calculate the amount of shares i can buy based on the pre set amount, let's say $20, also on the stop loss i've made and my buying capital. As sometimes different stocks cost differently, the amount of shares is different and also sometimes when the preset shares is based on $20 but my buying power could not afford so many shares. So it'll be great if there is a hotkey that could set based on, stoploss, buying capital and also the preset amount. And also I do not want to set the take profit part as i dont want to clear all my shares in 1 go because sometimes the stocks could go way further than 1: 2. Thanks in advance!!
  19. Hey all, I'm trying to figure out how to script a hotkey in DAS for adding to or creating a new position that will buy or short a set number of shares and then set a stop loss for fixed amount calculated based on the overall position and average cost per share. For example I want to buy 100 shares and I want to set my stop to fixed amount say $100 dollars. The math for this seems pretty basic just (average cost- (risk amount/position)) but I can't seem to make that work in a hotkey script. I would also want the script to update the stop if I add to the position so for example for a $10 stock: the first time I hit the button it buys 100 shares at current ask then sets a stop to sell 100 shares at $9, then I hit it again (assuming the ask is still $10) it buys another 100 shares (now I have 200 shares) and sets the new stop loss (cancelling the old) to sell 200 shares at $9.50. and then will do that each time I mash the button so were I to hit it 10 times for a 1000 shares my new stop loss would be to sell 1000 shares at $9.90. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
  20. I recently opened my account with IBKR and DAS. I currently have 100K of BP, but I noticed that I could not use all my buying power in a few stocks. For example, when AMC was trading at $30, I could only purchase 1,000 shares, using only 30,000 from the buying power I had available. This is confusing to me because I didn't have any restrictions in the simulator when using my full Buying power. Am I missing something? why do i suddenly have this restriction Thank you Henrique
  21. Just registered to DAS a day ago and getting no connection to quote server
  22. Hi all, I just joined the Bear Bull Trader's community. Question on the L2 montage: I am trying to configure the L2 montage to show single book levels based on price. (without ECNs) However, I realized that while this can be done in the "Inet" book, I am not able to do so on the "montage" book which includes also Arcabook, IEX, etc. Is there a way around this? I am finding it difficult to read the multiple levels of L2 and and trying to save some space on my screen.
  23. So I wrote to DAS Trader support asking if they know how to use the Replay feature or DataStream mode. They told me it won't work for Interactive Broker users ? Im confused as Andrew and moderators said in the chatroom we have the feature? Or am I mixing things up. Does somebody know? Here is the conversation screen shot:
