  1. Hi Igor. Sounds interesting to say the least. Can you share some screen shots of what you are speaking of here??

    Back Trading Software

From what I understand there is a product you can use... Its part of TD Ameritrade. Its a feature called "thinkOnDemand" https://www.td.com/ca/en/investing/direct-investing/trading/thinkorswim/ I believe this is a tutorial: https://tickertape.tdameritrade.com/tools/backtest-historical-data-thinkorswimondemand-15667
  3. Good day fellow Traders. One of the very frustrating things about using the DAS Trader platform is the fact that it does not allow the end user to place a horizontal price line audio alert. (in a simple way) Perhaps you guys can side with me on this one; In a simple world of a platform, we should be able to draw a horizontal price line and within the Configuration of that line be able to set an Audio alert with optional pop up visual alert. Two clicks and your done... Matter of fact, it would be nice to enable audio alerts on any sort of line whether it is a Trend line, Horizontal price line or ray line. In many other trading platforms, they all have SIMPLE alert capabilities... Long and short. I did speak with DAS Technical support and they have advise me to email "support@dastrader.com" with the request to have simple alert's added to future platform upgrades. Perhaps if you in particular are interested in this needed feature, you too should email "support@dastrader.com" with the request. The more requests they receive of a particular new feature, the more likely they will add it into the development cue. Thanks everyone, and perhaps send an email in support. (If you are in support of simple audio alerts! Safe trading everyone.

    Ergonomic Hotkeys Layout

Attached here are the HOTKEY scripts. Be mindful to always test your scrips in simulator mode prior to live trading. Also take note that DAS Trader hotkey scripts may not work in pre-market conditions. scripts.pdf

    Ergonomic Hotkeys Layout

While being on the topic of HotKeys which I use every day, here's mine! One may be amazed having this many hotkeys however the items in yellow are used religiously. DAS Hotkey Layout3.pdf
  6. Good day everyone. Just want to mention that I did reach out to DAS and they did add the above additional data as stated. Robert. I do have a question for your, do you know where/how to gain the information of added Float and other stock fundamental data Thank you!
  7. Converted a typical closet into a trade station. I added a 'peel n stick' wood wall paneling and installed a 3 pot-light lamp above with dimmer switch.
  8. Hi fellow traders. I would like to share with anyone who may find this useful or perhaps provide a helpful ‘head start’ into the world of Hot Keys. When I began to learn day trading and the importance of using hot keys, I created an editable PDF file which I would refine and develop as my trading progressed. To this day I still refer back to this chart as a constant reminder of my complex hot-key layout. One very nice thing about the PDF I am providing here is the fact that all the comment text boxes and red square boxes are ‘live and editable’. You can use this file as a head start to customize your preferred hotkeys vs. creating one from scratch. (Bit of a time saver) You will find that as you evolve your hotkeys, you will revise your PDF on the fly continuously making it more detailed and accurate for your desired use. Just a note; All I did here was take a photo of my actual keyboard and added some black space around it. I then saved a .jpg file and converted it to a PDF file. A few things I would like to point out here in hopes to answer some possible questions. This layout I am providing here is simply how I ‘personally’ have found to work for ‘my’ for my trading style. Yours can of course differ. - The text boxes Highlighted in ‘yellow’ represent the very active hotkeys I use most commonly - The colored stickers on the keyboard (purchased from a dollar store) are something I did to help me learn with clarity/confidence under pressure. Once you have used them for a while you will most likely find that you do not need colored stickers. Your hotkeys become natural to you. That day will come. - The hotkey scripts I am providing are based on using DAS trader version (and in particular IB as my broker). Please note to ensure that you test out all your hotkeys in simulation mode before you go live. Make changes as necessary. - From my understanding and experience using hotkeys in DAS Trader Pro Hotkeys associated with ‘stop order’ like actions DO NOT work in pre-market environments. (I do not know why). So use at your own discretion and ensure to test out all of them in the simulator environment. Perhaps now that I have done this, it might be nice for other fellow traders to share their hotkey layout and what works well for them. Be nice to see other trading styles. Happy trading everyone! And good luck! Uploaded; April 20 2019 Revision: 0 DAS HotKey Layout and Shortcut Scripts REV0.pdf

  15. Good day traders. I was informed by a DAS Trader user that the newest update which DAS has released ( Feb 21 2019) (click Tools > Auto Upgrade) that somehow it is able to show you where the "Circuit Breaker Halt" price is for any given moving stock. Does anyone in here happen to know how to turn that setting on? Or where to find it? Best regards,
