3 points9-4-19 4 hours sleep, feel OK, SSS and a coffee (no sugar) PAT: Work on self trust for adding to position and entering making sure to have good levels to trade from......... Stick to my playbook and read all sticky notes very often....... Will be trying out for a few days..... Not partialing as much and holding on to my Target before first partial.... not sure how I am gonna feel about this.... SBUX first...... small pos. .....was a mistake, I took it long instead of short so i exited within three seconds (2.00)... I took a step back for a few seconds and it ran without me..... second...... small pos. .....9ma trade #3, this time I did take the trade when I seen it (trusting myself) but then I exited from not trusting my setup and myself which led to another good third trade which got stopped out but as of now if I would have kept this trade I still would have position...... +9.00 third......... small pos. (100) ..... 9ma trade #3, added in first 100 then two 50s moving my stop to a new 5min high.... stopped out..... (32.00)... should have stuck with what I know a partialed out on the last two small entries.... (25.00) MU first Trade #3 5min ORB....... start small and added in.... out 25% twice then stopped at BE..... +17.89 second, Trade #3 ...... happy with entry R/R but just got stopped out.... (22.00) (4.11) TVIX ..... Opportunity Trade Playbook #4........ Spy dumped so I jumped for a long on TVIX.... it did go for a few seconds then dumped as I exited at 9ma I got lucky and it had a spike that reduced my loss..... (9.00) TSN ..... Trade #3....... took very small share size here as I didnt like this as much.... got stopped out.... if I would have went with my old plan (partials) I would have made at least 1R on this and maybe 1.5R...... (2.00) SBUX I will try to do a play by play here as I may have a little more time between the price action fourth ....... Trade #3 ....... small share size again..... should have added to it about 1120 on 2min but hesitated too long....... I will continue to hold to my 95.50 level before my first partial..... lets see how this goes... lol .... 25% out at 95.49.... 1148 retesting the 9ma here, this 2min candle has a lot of selling volume.... 1151 missed another add but I was not happy with the 2min volume on the 1150 candle...... the selling pressure on the 1202 candle has a lot of volume.... I added at the retest of the 9ma, hope I didn't just blow it..... there was a very brief new 5min low and pulled back (no new 15min Low as of now)...... this moved my avg price to 95.20.... if it gets to this point I feel like it may do a reversal and I will get all out at BE......, my new target is 96.00....... this consolidation is killing me..... 1220 think if I can get back to the 95.70 level I will partial out 25% .... and stopped myself out at 95.40 as this was a third 5 min low and a new 15 min low..... probably should flip my pos. but I think I am done for today...... I do feel like I let myself down here as I said I was gonna let it go to 95.20 for BE...... +32.75 Cons: a couple of my setups could have had better confirm. ...... I did exit out of my last trade even as I was real time journaling which would have led to a larger win.... Pros: took trades out of my playbook and did a little better holding on to them, just not sure this is the best for me but I will continue to try for the rest of the week R + 50.00: +2.64

3 pointsSeptember 4, 2019 - Partial & Hot key Error Today I had $MU and $BOX on my watchlist for 15 min Orbs. I decided not to trade 5 min Orbs until I start to see some stocks continue trending after the orb. Right now I am 1 for 6 on 5 minute orbs. I almost got into $MU after the 15 minute mark, but the risk to reward was not there. $BOX did met my setup, but the volume and the price action where not smooth, so I decided to stay away from it. It did make a move but I would have gotten stopped out before the move. After 0700, I switched my display and started filtering through my Moving average crossover stocks to see if anything look promising. $FB and $AMD both looked promising, so I started watching them. They both met my indicators and confirmation, but $FB did not break the 50 SMA, while $AMD broke, so after a little battle with my emotions I entered it at a good level. I set my Limit Order for my 1R partial and set my Range Order for my stop loss and profit target. I got my partial and then made a hotkey error when adjusting my range order and covered all of my position. I am going to have to work on that. Overall though a good trade and I was happy with it. 3 pointsWednesday 9/04/2019 I had a well-being score of 5/10 this morning. I couldn’t shake the grogginess out, plus I had stress from forces outside day-trading today. So I decided to trade SIM only. Looks like I didn’t miss much trading SIM today. AAPL gave me nothing at the open. I did take 1 SIM trade with BABA. So AAPL and BABA were on my market open watchlist with MU, AMD and SBUX on my 5min ORB watchlist. AAPL was not setting up and bounced between PM levels (high and low) for several minutes. Even though the volume was good the price couldn’t break high or low. Then BABA created a huge wicked hammer at 9:34. All the 1min MAs, VWAP and a daily level were all bunched together. The spread tightened as it broke those levels and I went long and got a good fill. I gave it a large stop of 50 cents all the way to the PM low since BABA is so wicky. The PM high was my target though the R/R is less than 2. But I thought it worth the risk since there were no levels above it and it could run. I quickly took a partial at the HOTD, then waited for 12 minutes for the price to do anything. The price wicked down below VWAP 6 times, but I already know BABA enough to know that’s normal. Finally, the price moved a little bit and I snuck in two partials. Then the volume went from low to none and I got out at B/E. It was very interesting to watch BABA during that time. SPY had some really big moves and I didn’t see any effect on BABA. Also, more than once I saw really big asks at prices ~10-20 cents above current and they didn’t seem to have any effect on the price as well. But, time and sales had some correlation. I have been really focusing on T/S and seeing very little correlation with AAPL but at least for today I saw the move about 30sec ahead when 4 reasonably large buys at the ask went through. So that was interesting. What I did good today: Knew to trade SIM only today. What I am grateful from today? That I traded SIM. Maybe I would have been stupid and tried to trade AAPL live this morning. I would have been seriously chopped up. What do I need to improve on: Now that I am having some success trading SIM on 3/5/10 min ORBs, I noticed they are a lot more fun than trading at the open which is traded on nerves and speed.

2 points4/9/19 feel pretty tired today, bad sleep, but its another short day for me so just gonna learn what i can while im here had a pretty good day, 2 winners totaling about 8R, then had 2 small losers totalling 3R but carried on even though i hit my target and got another 2 losers. but still a pretty green day. and another 2 losers... waa and another 2 winners hooraaah and now calling it a day with 7.5 Rs in the bag. 10 trades 4 big winners (5 min ORB, VWAP play, pendant x 2) 6 losers (triple bottom reversal, wedge breakup, VWAP play, wedge breakdown, trend trade bad setup, abcd/ VWAP play) Trade 1: 5 min ORB on MU, bullish volume, low volume pullback, great entry, good partials, survived the VWAP test. great trade. Trade 2: saw the triple bottom form but was making lower highs so shouldve waited for confirmation. Trade 3: ROKU making higher lows against resistance., went long but stopped out, wedge wasnt perfect so not A1. Trade 4:broke above VWAP, waited for it to retest, went long survived the second retest then waited until i started partialling. Trade 5: couldnt lose VWAP to the short side, saw a lot of buying come in, morning star on the 5 min, was confident about this but was against the trend. Trade 6: another wedge breakdown but the wedge wasnt great again. Trade 7: trend trade got in on a pullback but shouldnt have taken this i dont usually do well at these. Trade 8: MU bork out of a consolidation phase with volume and started consolidating again, went long with stop at the support. all the time and sales were suggesting a long but i guess all the stops got triggered at once and it dropped. given almost all my earning back now... boooo Trade 9: pendant formed on ROKU, got in just after it broke with volume, didnt stop out (love Kyles hot key ) and got a nice profit Trade 10: then saw the exact same thing on SBUX straight after i got out of roku and did pretty much the same trade. made back all my losses and then some finishing my day 7.5 Rs in the green.

2 pointsPlaybook is the key that way you can evaluate yourself and see what is working and what is not working for you. It also helps with improving discipline and dealing with trades that just do not work out even though they are good setups.

2 pointsSeptember 3, 2019 - E-Stop & E Stop I did not get any of my setups to appear last Thursday and well Friday CMEG had some issues with the platform at the open, so I decided not to trade after that. For today though the question of the day is - Can you have a great trading day still be red? Well I think you can. It may not be the best for the pocket book, but for the psychology it is great. I have had a rough couple weeks, but the new risk management plan still has me in the gross and slightly red net. 4 Green days and 6 Red days or 4 green trades and 8 red trades. My old risk management plan, I would have taken a hit to the account. So I took 2 live trades today. 1 5 min ORBO on $SNAP and a moving average crossover short on $AMD. Trade 1 – I did not get in during the first pull back towards VWAP, because it broke before the close of the 1st five minute candle. I eventually took it on the second pullback and rejection of VWAP. A little higher entry, but it broke the previous candle, a moving average, and a resistance level so I was happy with the entry. It popped up but did not quite make a new high of the day for me to get a partial. A new rule I have is I do not exit within the first 2 candles after my entry unless it hits my stop, after that I re-evaluate the trade and decide either to stay in to the stop or exit at a different point. I exited after 5 minutes when the stock just could not break above 16.35 and lost the 9 moving average. It did make it back to the high of the day, but I would not have gotten filled and eventually would have gotten stopped out. Trade 2 – Between 0700 and 0730 I look for the 9/20 moving averages to cross the 50 SMA on the 1 minute with the slopes of the 9/20 moving averages looking to cross the 50 SMA on the 2 minute. My entry is a break of the 50 SMA on the 2 minute. Today I missed the entry and entered late, causing me to not get a 1R partial and eventually stopping out. I exited early again once the stock closed above VWAP and the 2 min moving averages rolled over. Except for the entry this was not a bad trade. 1 pointIt's possible to create a hotkey in DAS that will allow you to check the margin requirements of a particular stock before actually buying/shorting the stock. Please note, this is for IB clients only! via hotkey in DAS https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/index.php?key=%SYMB%&cntry=usa&tag=United+States&ib_entity=hk&ln=&f=5168&ns=T If you enter the symbol in the montage then press the hotkey configured for above, it will launch. If there's no value then it's standard 25% for long and 30% for short. This helps to know to ensure you do not use all of your buying power before taking a position. For example: CBAY has 100 so just straight equity.

1 pointNice trade on $SNAP. I took the same trade, it looks like you got in right before me. I think my stop was at the same level or pretty close. I got out when it was having trouble pushing past the 16.35 price level with a lot of bids. I think it tested it 3 times before finally popping up and just barely touching the high of the day before reversing on us.

1 pointHi everyone, I just got word that Andrew was invited to speak at a Trade Ideas summit on October 26th in San Diego which means that he wouldn't be able to make the original meetup date. I have gone ahead and updated the meetup date and Google Doc to Saturday, November 16th 2019 so Andrew can join us. I hope this works for everyone's schedule.
