  1. Hello, anybody using this hotkey? AlertName=HIGHER;AlertType=LastPrice;AlertOperator=>=;Speak=Yes;PlaySound=Yes;Beep=No;Loop=No;AutoDelete=Yes;AddAlert If so, how do you do it? Thanks
  2. Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out how to show this indicator on the chart - with post-pre market data turned on and visible - so that the volume data reflects from market open time only, and not aligning with the beginning of pre-market (which skews the bars off to the left so far that they aren't visible when zoomed into the chart during later, open market times?) Thanks all!
  3. Howdy friends Can someone tell me if the ATR average true range should be marked to the daily range price during active trading or pre market high low? BABA ATR (14) is roughly $4.5 For example today BABA hit a pre market low of 97.8 And then went down to $96.98 at the open. Then raged to HOD of $104 (still going as of this writing). Let’s forget for a minute that China opening is causing a yesr in china stocks. just trying to judge where I should mark my stop and then potential profit taking levels. I got out at 99.90 from 97 entry. But obviously I could have trailed longer. Thanks and Happy new year! MRod
  4. Hey everyone, I think I’ve got this thing working. For anyone interested I’ve built a tool/model that lets the user who wants more certainty on where to set your call and put strike prices for an iron condor. the user inputs the stock ticker, current price, number of trading days and probability of risk to take on ( can adjust based on implied volatility in the market like fed decisions or earnings). if you zoom in to the top right (example) of the attached photo you will see the price range to set on an iron condor trade considering how much the given stock moves historically within your set trading days. i built this in open source R studio so this is ready to go and only requires a few packages to be installed (free). let me know if your interested cheers aaron

  6. Hello community. I have trying to All kinds of hot keys that take buying power + R ratio into a fixed risk dollar amount but continue to get this error message "ERROR: Can't get valid price!" The scripts I am using are from this you tube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPSLj7W-KQA I have even tried Kyle's excel file and with those I get the same error. These scripts are going into buttons into my montage which I have created and I have also tried click to trade via charts which I have also enabled. I am using the 3 month BBT Das trader pro trial Version - 5.6.4.13 Build Time - Jul 1 2021 12:23.01 Any assistance would be most appreciated. Thank you for your time, Adam
  7. Hi all I recall this being discussed in the chatroom previously, but can't remember the punch line. Does anyone know why the DAS close price varies from other services? For example, on the 28th of March the below was the reported MESM23 close price: DAS: $4013.75 tastyworks: $4001.50 TradingView: $4001.50 Interactive Brokers: $4001.50 The main impact for this on my strategy is when trading Camarilla Pivots the pivot calculations are going to be different in these platforms than DAS. For example, the following day (29th of March) R4 printed at the following price: DAS: $4155.837 tastyworks: $4025.288 TradingView: $4025.288 Interactive Brokers: $4025.288 On range days like in the current market, a 30 point discrepancy can make a lot of difference when trying to play the CAMs on TradingView and trying to keep up with Thor on DAS Any thoughts, or insights into what I'm missing would be greatly appreciated. TC
  8. Hello Everyone, I am reaching out because I would like to know and learn how to read, interpret and analyze Volume Price as well as Supply And Demand. I don't know how to read a chart to determine when to get in and out of a play. Or how I can get the fear out of me. I don't know how to time my entries and exits. I always get in too late or out too early. I need help period lol
  9. Hi All, Is there a way to get DAS to automatically draw the current session's opening price? I'm able to have previous day close, highs, lows, etc. Perhaps I need to add a different study? I'd like to see how opening range plays and morning price action behave around the opening price, without needing to manually draw it (then delete it) every time.
  10. Q: How do I create HOTKEY to REPLACE / Refresh Order to the new Price in DAS Trader ? I am looking for a Hotkey command / script so when Hotkey it's pressed it is replacing the order already sent, pending to fill, to the new price - I think REPLACE command needs to be used (???) Example: I send order to buy on the BID, but the price moves higher quickly, I still want to get in the trader at the New BID price, so I press the REPLACE Order hotkey, that refreshes the order price to the new current Bid. Thanks !
  11. Hello BBTs, i am still very new to trading and currently in the state of understanding the fundamentals of it. So i got stuck with the following questions : How exactly does the price move? I learned that the price makes an uptick when a transaction is made on the "ask" (aggresive buyer) and a downtick when a transaction is made on the "bid" (aggresive seller). But when I watch the Level 2 and the Time and Sales within DAS I sometimes see that there are transactions made wheather at/above the ask/bid or inside and the price doesnt move. Happens very often in the premarket and a shares traded <100 (Lot-size 0) How can a transaction be performed inside of a spread when there are only the possibilities to wheather set a price and wait that someone accepts it (limit order) or to accept a price yourself (market order) wheather on the bid or ask side? Sometimes I see on the top of Level 2 a bid and an ask and they are just 0.01 apart from each other but the spread on Level 1 shows a wider spread. How does this come? I am really looking forward to your answers and would be more than happy if you could help me with these questions. Have a nice day Lukas
  12. I am trying to use this script for a hot button to set a STOP LOSS: CXL ALLSYMB;ROUTE=STOP;StopType=Market;StopPrice=Last-100/Pos;StopPrice=Round2;Share=Pos;TIF=DAY+;SELL=Send; OR CXL ALLSYMB;ROUTE=STOP;StopType=Market;StopPrice=AvgCost-100/Pos;StopPrice=Round2;Share=Pos;TIF=DAY+;SELL=Send; The above scripts throws the following ERROR Script: Invalid price Looks like DAS is not liking 100/Pos [ STOPPRICE = (AvgCost*Pos-100)/Pos = AvgCost - (100/Pos) = AvgCost - 100/Pos ] If AvgCost=5 and Pos=25 STOPPRICE = 5 - 100/25 = $1 which means that the StopLoss value = ($5 - $1) * 25 = $ 100 I am using this formula to fix my Stop Loss to $100 - a fixed amount. Why is DAS throwing an error for this? Any pointers will be appreciated - thanks in advance. **SOLVED** Gist: Stop Price does not support the POS command Use this workaround: CXL ALLSYMB;Share=Pos;Price=100/Share;Price=Last-Price;Price=Round2;ROUTE=STOP;StopType=Market;StopPrice=Price;Share=Pos;TIF=DAY+;SELL=Send; Here's my interaction with DAS support chat -------------------------- kris: Hello, I am trying to use this script for a hot button to set a STOP LOSS: CXL ALLSYMB;ROUTE=STOP;StopType=Market;StopPrice=Last-100/Pos;StopPrice=Round2;Share=Pos;TIF=DAY+;SELL=Send; The above script throws the following ERROR Script: Invalid price Looks like DAS is not liking 100/Pos I am using this formula to fix my Stop Loss to $100 - a fixed amount. Why is DAS throwing an error for this? Call accepted by operator Customer Service. Currently in room: Customer Service, kris. Customer Service: Hi this is Rashada' Customer Service: Please allow me some time to review kris: thanks Customer Service: Allow me to use your script kris: ok Customer Service: Yes the rejection is coming from Stopprice=Last-100/Pos kris: the formula is correct kris: [ STOPPRICE = (AvgCost*Pos-100)/Pos = AvgCost - (100/Pos) = AvgCost - 100/Pos ] If AvgCost=5 and Pos=25 STOPPRICE = 5 - 100/25 = $1 which means that the StopLoss value = ($5 - $1) * 25 = $ 100 kris: so looks like DAS is not allowing 100/Pos ? kris: I can use AvgCost - 0.15 and it is fine kris: AvgCost or Last Customer Service: Just a moment Customer Service: Stop Price does not support the POS command kris: is there a workaround - like using DefShare=Pos;StopPrice=Last-100/DefShare - something like this? Customer Service: What are you trying to do? kris: I am using this formula to fix my Stop Loss to $100 - a fixed amount. kris: see the calculation above Customer Service: You may try this hotkey to set your stop loss to be $100 Customer Service: CXL ALLSYMB;Share=Pos;Price=100/Share;Price=Last-Price;Price=Round2;ROUTE=STOP;StopType=Market;StopPrice=Price;Share=Pos;TIF=DAY+;SELL=Send; Customer Service: Please test all Hotkey scripts prior to use to ensure accuracy. It is the responsibility of the trader for all order sent. kris: Appreciate your help - thank you so much! Customer Service: You are welcome Customer Service: Is there anything else I can assist you with? kris: No - thank you Customer Service: I hope you have a nice day. Goodbye! ---------------------------------------------------- Here's how my hot buttons look like With the $100 stop loss, once it is set, I can click and drag it to adjust - you just have to enable it in your chart area. Also, I can hit the button again - since it is programmed on Last, it will re-adjust.

  14. Hi community, just want to ask a question related to volume. I often see a huge volume coming in at market close. For example, there was 422k shares traded at market close for BABA on 4/9. However, these volume volume doesn't actually translate to price change. If you take a look at the price, it only changed less than 0.1$ . This often happens and is definitely not specific to this stock, this day. I am wondering, what happened at that time ?
  15. Good day fellow Traders. One of the very frustrating things about using the DAS Trader platform is the fact that it does not allow the end user to place a horizontal price line audio alert. (in a simple way) Perhaps you guys can side with me on this one; In a simple world of a platform, we should be able to draw a horizontal price line and within the Configuration of that line be able to set an Audio alert with optional pop up visual alert. Two clicks and your done... Matter of fact, it would be nice to enable audio alerts on any sort of line whether it is a Trend line, Horizontal price line or ray line. In many other trading platforms, they all have SIMPLE alert capabilities... Long and short. I did speak with DAS Technical support and they have advise me to email "[email protected]" with the request to have simple alert's added to future platform upgrades. Perhaps if you in particular are interested in this needed feature, you too should email "[email protected]" with the request. The more requests they receive of a particular new feature, the more likely they will add it into the development cue. Thanks everyone, and perhaps send an email in support. (If you are in support of simple audio alerts! Safe trading everyone.
  16. Good day traders. I was informed by a DAS Trader user that the newest update which DAS has released (5.3.0.5 Feb 21 2019) (click Tools > Auto Upgrade) that somehow it is able to show you where the "Circuit Breaker Halt" price is for any given moving stock. Does anyone in here happen to know how to turn that setting on? Or where to find it? Best regards,
  17. DAS Pro has a very interesting study line can added to a chart called Volume By Price. Does TWS of Interactive Broker have some similar ?
  18. I've been using Kyle's dynamic dollar risk with a hard stop hot keys for the last couple months in sim and they have been working great. Recently as a part of a new edge I'm testing I'm scalping momentum around HOD/LOD breaks. I've been trying to set my scale out orders at the predefined R values given the hard stop I used to autocalculate the share size and enter the original position. Currently I trade all symbols from 1 montage and only trade 1 stock at a time. Below is the script I've been using for the scaling out from a long position at 0.5R/1R. It seems to work on the first trade of the day or the first trade in Replay mode and then it doesn't work and the price of the sell order is way too high and not accurate to my 0.5R or 1R target partial exit. I'm assuming it has something to do with the StopPrice field in the montage not updating? Does anybody have a recommended solution or fix? Long Position Sell 50% at 0.5R Route=Limit;Share=Pos*0.5;Price=AvgCost-StopPrice;Price=Price*0.5;Price=Price+AvgCost;Price=Round2;TIF=DAY+;SELL=Send Long Position Sell 50% at 1R Route=Limit;Share=Pos*0.5;Price=AvgCost-StopPrice;Price=Price*1;Price=Price+AvgCost;Price=Round2;TIF=DAY+;SELL=Send
  19. Hello, Curious how the T&S price action works. If transactions are happening at the ask or above the ask, is that an indication the price might be going higher? With level 2, if you see heavy numbers on the ask side it's a bullish sign as far as I'm aware, does the same hold true for T&S? Cheers, Ry
  20. Have you ever exited a trade too early because you didn't see a price level just beyond the horizon? Do you find yourself zooming out constantly, or switching to hourly/daily charts to identify upcoming price levels? Well, you can increase the Y-axis margins to allow for a larger vertical range to fit on the chart. Here's an example. The default margin setting in DAS is 10%. This gives a pretty good scale in most cases. Here the price of GCAP is hitting 8.94, with the bottom margin at 8.85. This is the same chart with the margin set to 40%. Another price level down at 8.65 becomes visible! Also note that you can now see VWAP at the top, which was out of view in the above chart. To adjust the margin: Right click the chart area Click Configure In the Margins settings on the right hand side, change the value for Price axis top bottom margin Please note that your candlesticks will become slightly shorter to fit the new y-axis scaling. I've tested different values and found 30% to be a good setting for me. Play around and see what works best in your DAS layout.
  21. Hello team, I bought the BBT simulator ,and I practiced on REPLAY mode , but after one day it didn't show any price action or volume specially when I changed the time from 4:30 am to 9:30 Am . Has anyone encountered such a problem? Any solution would be appreciated.
  22. Hi All, I'm making this post seeking assistance with a specific hotkey script that I'm having trouble making. It's a rather simple concept, but despite having it clearly defined in my mind, I am having a hard time finding the resources to execute it. So, here goes... The simple function that I am looking for (in a single hotkey) is this - I would like to: 1.) Be able to select a limit order price by clicking on the chart (and would like it to be ask + 0.05 for long positions, or bid -0.05 for short positions). 2.) Execute the order at a specific share size defined by the quantity related hotkey that is pressed after purchase price is selected by clicking. 3.) Automatically set a stop loss at -$150 for any quantity share size chosen. If anyone is able to help with this, or share their similar hotkey script, I would be extremely grateful! Thanks! - Phil
  23. For anyone that uses Thinkorswim I have some scripts that automatically plot the previous day open/high/low/close and also the premarket high/low like DAS does on Andrews charts. They only show up on intraday charts, so they disappear once you go out to a daily chart like 6 months, etc, but I only really care about them on the intraday chart anyways so for me its not a problem. These will be "Studies" that you can add to your charts, and there are different options, so you can set them up how you want. You can choose if you want any of the open/high/low/close lines to show or not (i just use HLC), change the colors, bubbles/titles, line styles, etc. There is also an option on the OHLC study to select how many days back you want it to go. So 1 is yesterday, 2 is the day before, etc. On Andrews DAS he has yesterday and the day before, so I've copied that and add two of the OHLC studies to my chart, one for yesterday (1) and another for the day before (2). The premarket HL study just goes back to todays premarket so theres no option for days back, but you can tweak all the other stuff like the OHLC study. I'm also sharing the Flexible Grid that I use for my Charts in case anyone wants to give it a try. I pretty much copied the layout of Andrews DAS, although its a little different because, well, its a different program haha. Got it close enough though haha. I'll attach a screenshot so you can check it out first. Depending on your screen size you may have to adjust some of the sections a bit. Couple other things to note, for some reason TOS has some sort of bug that displays the top right section where I have the buy/sell buttons all weird when I open TOS in the morning. I have to hit the little gear logo for that section, then hit the Restore button, then OK, for it to correct itself. Same thing happens with the price ladder gadget in the bottom right. Since I have the position summary already in the top right I hide it in the ladder section, but you have to hit the mini gear to do that. Kind of annoying, but it is what it is. Oh, and for some reason the Level II in TOS charts has the price, net change and % change repeated 3 times all together. I have no idea why they do that. Personally I just detach a Level II gadget and pin it over this section since the gadget doesn't have that issue and looks cleaner. I've brought all this up to the TOS support so hopefully they fix that stuff someday. If anyone else wants to let them know as well you can email them at [email protected]. Maybe if they get more people asking they'll actually fix it haha. Ask for customizable hot keys too haha. Heres the links: Previous OHLC: http://tos.mx/LPErUa Premarket HL: http://tos.mx/P9a56y Andrews DAS Style Flex Grid: http://tos.mx/avIx9s To load these go to the top right Setup Gear and choose Open Shared Item. Paste in these links and then you can then rename them whatever you want. Alright this got a lot longer that I was planning. Sorry for the rambling. Hopefully this helps though. Someday I'll switch to DAS haha, but for now it certainly saves me time in the morning plotting all the previous HLC and premarket HL levels. Let me know if you have any questions. 24. Hi, I want to try the daytrading simulator. With bearbulltrader, you get 3 months Dastraderpro Simulator for 300 Dollars. On the Dastrader Website you can buy a monthly simulator package for 100 Dollars per month https://www.dastrader.com/form-sub-das.html Do you get the same package through bearbulltrader and the Dastrader website or is the 100 Dollar package on Dastrader different from the bearbulltrader package. The advantage of the monthly price could be that I can upgrade to live more flexibly? Thanks in advance Dieter
  25. When I double click the price on a chart the price that loads in to my level 2 will often be off by 1 cent. It's a big deal when taking 3-5 cent stops. Any solution to this? v/r -Chris
