Hey BBT Community! My name is Tony. I recently moved overseas with my wife, who works for the foreign service. I thought I would look into getting more into investments and the stock market while I work part-time and finish my masters. I have a limited background in value investing and swing trading. So far I've been in the black (better to be lucky than good sometimes). But felt I needed to further my knowledge. After hearing Andrew Aziz on a podcast, I thought I would look more into day trading and I have been amazed at the level of engagement with this community. I've already read the first book from Andrew, as well as How to Swing Trade by Brian. I look forward to finishing up the book on Advance Techniques in Day Trading and getting through the rest of the great training material BBT has to offer. I am excited to be a part of the community and learn from everyone, and I look forward to the future when I can hopefully pay it back. Best, Tony

Good afternoon BBT community, My name is Andrew, and I'm from Morris County, New Jersey. I am still fairly new to trading, and am currently continuing my education through books, online videos, and now by joining a chatroom. I also trade PaperMoney through my thinkorswim mobile app, for additional training. I am currently saving up enough money to purchase a worthwhile desktop computer that I can use to trade seriously, as trading from a smart phone is not conducive. Wired all the way - I use my backup machine to connect to the chat room, email etc during trading - that has a wireless keyboard and mouse but not my main PC. I've had wireless stuff disconnect on me enough times to not use them for anything critical, I had a mouse go down during a counter strike clan final match years ago and we lost!. plus 2 to 3 second delay to reconnect is enough to cost $ at the open if you trade like Andrew. I'm not OCD about it, I route everything behind the monitors, under the desk or behind the shelf that the computer sits on, I can live with keyboard, mic, streamdeck,, mouse leads on the desk. I do keep all cables neat and I do label both ends, primarily so it's not a massive undertaking and detangling session to replace something Ethernet cabling can be especially painful if it's not labelled. A few bucks on some cable ties is all you need and perhaps a cable track under the desk job done. You could even drill some holes in your desk so you can't see the wires..... lol

Well you should always enter a trade with a position that is appropriate to your equity. It doesn't really matter if the hotkey doesn't do the risk %, buying power, and stop loss calculations for you. If you know you can afford that many shares, can handle a mental stop loss if it goes against you, and you wont blow up your account.... then go for it. But.... As a new trader and you have this amazing tool that can help you with all calculations, proper risk management, and helps protect your account from blow ups.... Sounds like a good thing to use to me
