  1. Kyle, I'm trying to draw rectangles, and using your tool I can draw an outline. However, I want to be able to fill it and have it fairly transparent. I've been trying with different variations of the script, trying to include things line Fill Interior, intfill, Interiorfill, (and many many more), but to no avail.. Cannot find ANY resources online. I would love to be able to mark up supply and demand zones, but each time, I need to manually fill the boxes I draw and such.. Any suggestions? Thank You
  2. If anyone is inclined to set something up using Zoom (or whatever) for a group meeting at the open, I'm all for it, and would love to be included.
  3. Welcome Saint_K - Really hope you enjoy it here. It truly is the best Trading Community imo. All about the education and experience.
  4. Thanks Earl, Really appreciate any feedback and it was an awesome presentation too
  5. I tried out a couple of U-Turn trades earlier, based on what was described by Earl in the recent 'Trading the Open' Webinar. Both trades failed - and that's ok - it's in sim anyway, but I do wish to understand if they are genuine U-Turn trades as he described. I tried just now to reach out in chat, but he's not online. Anyone here who paid attention in that webinar confirm if I'm missing something? Or are they good? Thank You
  6. After listening to the Mastering Trading Psychology Audiobook by Andrew and Mike, I'm proud to say I've taken some very positive steps in my lifestyle choices. I got myself an Exercise Bike in February and have been doing a daily workout where I never really exercised at all (unless you count running around after 3 kids exercise). 3 Weeks ago, I was having beer almost daily, and from 2 weeks ago, now only having some at the weekend instead. And from today, I've cut out coffee during the week. Along with missing breakfast most mornings, I decided to kill 2 birds with 1 stone and make my own fruit smoothies - I get my breakfast, and my morning drink. Feel good about the changes I'm making and it's thanks to listening to that audiobook - Thanks Guys.
  7. I understand the audio and video are a bit out of sync and Carlos is working on restoring the session. I'm awaiting this one too (living in Europe and cannot view live).
  8. Here in The Netherlands, my lag is approx. 150 to 180ms. It's rare that it goes over 200, but on occasion it may. Don't feel it hurts my trading too much.
  9. Thanks JC, Had a look through the sheet. Really amazing work there
  10. Installed Power Toys and just tried this out.. Awesome - I can get a little OCD when it comes to aligning everything on screen.
  11. Thanks Jason, This is the one I've been using to align....
  12. These 2 will be very useful for me: Moving Avg Pair study - added option to play alert when cross over occurs. Added option to open multiple Trades, Orders and Positions window. Added vertical dragging for chart. - I thought this was always there (right click price axis and move up/down), if something different, appreciate if someone can explain how.
  13. Hi Dustin, DAS is fantastic, and once you get the hang of it, I think you'll love it. I'll try to answer your questions: 1. I'm not aware of a way to get a distinction in the watchlist between Shortable and non-shortable stocks. You can easily see if a stock is shortable on the Level 1. (see pic). edit: One thing I used to do, was have a empty line separator in my watchlist between Stocks where I can either Long or Short, and those which are not shortable. 2. This is a hotkey script I would use: CXL ALLSYMB;ROUTE=LIMIT;Price=BID-0.01;Price=Round2;Share=Pos*.25;TIF=DAY+;SELL=Send;ROUTE=STOP;StopType=Market;StopPrice=AvgCost;Share=Pos-share;TIF=DAY+;SELL=SEND It cancels any orders currently in place, then sells 25% of my position at LIMIT Bid price up to 0.01 of the Bid. Then it sets a new Stop Loss at Break Even. 3. I don't use IB, But I believe so. Best to be answered by someone who can definitively confirm. Hope that help.
  14. Definitely, May I also suggest to cover (in brief) any alternatives to SteamDeck?
  15. These are great, thanks Matthew. Just one point, on the falling angel, you say in the intro, to go short, I presume you mean long
  16. Saw this on a recent BZ webinar. It's about utilizing Benzinga's Screener to see stock with increasing volume over a particular timeframe. The below example is where the volume of shares trades is ever increasing from the 90day average, then higher on the 90, higher still on the 30, and then at it's highest on the 10day average. Filtering for stocks over >$10, with over 1M shares volume, and a float over 50M (not shown in this screenshot).. Sorting by Change %, I feel it provides a few new ideas on some stocks to trade.
  17. All, I read an interesting thing yesterday, claiming that 66% of AMD's 5-Min ORB strategies work, which was apparently backtested over a number of months (and this 'news' item was several months old). I was skeptical to say the least. However, I decided to test the theory out myself, especially since AMD is in play quite often. It took a bit of work in Excel, and in historical charting software, and I stuck to the following rules & assumptions: SL set just beyond VWAP 25% partial at all R's, SL set at B/E after first R (Tested on 25% at R1, and then 50% at R2+, but it's less profitable in this instance) Based on 0.004 p/s commission structure, with $0.50 minimum per ticket ECN fees are *NOT* included I also only managed to do only 3 and a half weeks of back-testing before my conclusions were becoming a bit clearer. Here is the sheet for your reference (and if you wish to back-test stocks yourself). You can also customize your Risk Amount, and partial % factors. Summary Conclusion: Yes, indeed it does appear you get get 65-65% success rate on a 5-min ORB, at least on AMD. However, the returns based on the above assumptions and strictly sticking by the rules, are quite low. There are a couple of really nice days, but by and large the positive days are just meh. While many may not find value in this, I did want to verify the claim myself and after the work I put into it, felt it may be nice to share for other people's reference. Happy to receive any feedback. Thank You.
  18. Thanks Kyle, will try with a new chart tomorrow, failing that, a fresh install. I just got my CMEG account approved, so once they receive the funds I think I need to install their own version of DAS soon anyway.
  19. Hey folks, Having a really frustrating time with DAS the last few days, issue seems to be getting worse. Basically when using Double-Click on a chart to set my SL price, the chart would flip over to another stock. I would then have to re-click the stock on the Market viewer, then double-click again on the area for my SL, and once again, the chart would flip over to another stock. Double click to trade *IS* ticked. I would estimate, it flips to another stock approx. 70% of the time. It's very intermittent. Does anyone else have/had this issue? and did you resolve it? Thanks in Advance.
  20. My Setup: I originally was going to build my own PC, but I couldn't source all the parts I wanted in sufficient time. Instead I purchased an off-the-shelf Ryzen 5 3600 PC, with 16GB RAM, 500GB M2 SSD, GTX1650. When purchasing, I specified for 4 Video outputs, but on delivery the card only had 3 (1xHDMI, 2 DP). A bit disappointed, but for 3 monitors it's sufficient. I promised myself if I am successful I will upgrade. I also purchased 2 x 27" monitors, very basic, but get the job done. The top monitor is an old HP Compaq 22" that I had lying around. I have a unique solution for the top monitor. I have some old TV mounts stuck into the wall (were there when I moved it), it's not compatible with anything I have. So I attached some thick wire to some screws in the back of the old monitor and 'hung' it on these old mounts. The desk can be adjusted to a standing desk (which I like to do around the time of the open), and then I move the top monitor to rest above these wall mounts leaning against the wall.
  21. Are they only available at the meetups? Or can I order one.. They do look great.
