In testing this morning, I noticed DAS has managed to get in a significant request. To sum it up, it allows a single hotkey to cast not only a STOP order on fill (how we currently do it), but also price target orders with each order canceling / updating the position of the STOP when filled. You might not see a beta configuration tool for this for a bit, as I have to get a wrangle on the syntax and how I plan to handle the configuration options, but it's cool enough that I felt like sharing. If you're like me and use set Limit Orders to take profit (versus a scale-out hotkey like Andrew), this is a pretty useful addition.

Good morning Team, How would I modify the Kyle hotkey to set a limit entry order at a set price as well as set a stop loss price and have the algorithm calculate the number of shares like it does now. For example, current price is at $49.97 and I want to enter a position at $50.07 and a stop loss at $49.53. Right now the Kyle hot key would set the stop loss at $50.07 but enter the position at a marketable limit, however, I want to set that exact limit trigger entry price to enter the position as well as set the exact stop loss price then let the hot key calculate the shares exactly as it does now. I would appreciate anyone's feedback if you have accomplished this or Kyle would consider developing it if there is enough interest. Sincerely, Travis Weirich

Thanks @Justin So if I understand correctly, the StopPrice variable is saved from the initial order where we set it to Price. Then, as we scale, we are cancelling the current stop order and replacing it with one, using the same stop price at the updated position size, right? I will try it in my SIM.

Just like your $ZM trade yesterday on $BYND today, engulf on the 1min, and a sweet entry on the 2min. It's aggressive, but totally valid imo. Though it doesn't feel like it you're essentially entering for a break of HOD / LOD on these. I tend to stay away from the spready stocks at the open, but maybe that's a mistake on my part, I'm going to start giving more weight to a catalyst stock even if it's got a larger spread. Also I added the average volume, I'll see if it sticks, thanks. *Edit* Looking at it now there was really no volume in the pre-market, it definitely had a catalyst though.. interesting xd

Went back and took a screen shot of the 2Min, and it did look good. Then bounced right off that daily level. I am trading on just a laptop right now so my charts are limited, I had to cut the 2Min, can't wait to get back to my normal setup with extra screen. Maybe I will start using 1 and 2 min at the open, because the 5 min chart isn't really needed the first few minutes, then switch after first 5 mins. Also, thanks for checking in, sometimes I think I am the only one reading my journal, LOL.

What broker are you with? For example I’m with IB, so instead of STOPTYPE=MARKET, market is called SMRTM, so try replace with STOPTYPE=SMRTM (if you are with IB).
