2 points9-6-19 up at 0745 with about 6.5 hours sleep feel OK.... SSS and making a coffee now..... PAT: Any ORB plays I should make double sure of as they have not been working out of me lately due to either me or just going against me... Go back to my normal 1R 25% partial with closer to correct share size entry..... Make sure I use my playbook with confirmation DOCU first....... PB#1....... 5min ORB .... Bad 1/1 RR using 54.76 (daily lvl) and C....... I did have an ABCD pattern on the 1min but I should have waited to break the previous candle for confirmation..... got stopped out at C...... This was also a strong stock which is another reason for me to wait on even more confirmation next time... (34.00) second.... PB#2...... VWAP reverse...... 3/1 RR using Low of PM and HOD..... took it at break of VWAP on 1 and 2min with lots of green on the T&S and nice size ask orders on the LVL2 within range........ going back to my 25% partials and all out at break of 9 and 20 on 1min and a new low on 5min...... third...... PB#2..... continuation of prev. trade when it turned back to favor a long trade breaking the 9 and 20ma on 2min..... took 25% partials and all out at BE...... combined +43.55 +9.55 WMS...... PB#1..... ABCD with confirmation of the bounce off the 9ma on 2min....... 2.5/1 RR using C and HOD...... took my 25% partials (2) and a 10% then all out when it broke the 9ma with lots of selling pressure on T&S and LVL2...... +16.64 AMD...... PB#3...... Trend..... took a bad trade and got out as soon as I realized my mistake..... (6.00) WMS.... PB#3.... 2/1 RR using 32.12 intraday support and HOD...... took very small size and will look for another entry if possible..... 1048 looking for reentry here but did not like the shooting star on the 2min.... 1053 same reentry prob but this time it looks like the Bears might be exhausted for now...... if the Bulls show up I will add in.....1059 All out as the 9 and 20 were broke on the 2min and the 9 was broke on the 5min..... looking at it after a knee jerk reaction to it the 5min looks like it was the trend here and I should have held it for my original Stop..... (11.00) GWRE.... PB#3 ...... Trend found on scanner and looked for news.... The spread on this is a litle large so I will try to be very careful... 1126 looking for GWRE to pull back to the 9 on 2min for an entry...... In at 1137 1138 two small size..... took 25% at 111.00 and all out at BE.... Will still look for entry from the good news for the long..... in again at 1146 very small size....1150 out 25% at 111.00 if it holds 111.00 as support I will add in.... 1152 out 25% at 111.50, partials at even dollars and .50s ........ 1154 the 9ma has moved to 111.00 so I will add if it pulls back to the 9ma.... Out another 25% at 112.00.... 1200 added in which moved my avg to 111.40 which will also be my loose BE stop.... stopped out below BE..... +54.43 Cons: Did take a trade without good confirmation.... I do not like trying to scale in as I feel like I am leaving money on the table, I will go back to proper size positions next week. This cost me big on my winning trades as in GWRE (I would have never tried to reenter and lose somewhere in the neighborhood of 150.00) and my losers would have been only about double bringing my daily profit way up...... Pros: I felt good about my trade management.... Took only trades out of PB..... R =50.00: +63.72 Weekly Goal 4R (only 4 days this week): 77.02

2 pointsThursday 9/05/2019 I had a well-being score of 5.5/10 this morning. Still felt good enough to trade live. I took 2 live trades this morning, with AAPL and BABA. What was unusual is I took both trades at the same time. So AAPL and BABA were on my market open watchlist with MU, AMD and CIEN on my 5min ORB watchlist. I only had two levels on my AAPL chart, the 211.85 daily and the HOPM. The price popped above both on high volume. I have not been doing well with opening pull backs or trades without a close target. This trade was both. So I waited. The price fluctuation calmed down and the HOPM was acting as a really good support. So I went long with 213 as the target and the 211.85 daily level as my stop. I took a quick partial then the price started to move 2min later. Then I took 3 partials in rapid succession. I think this was mostly due to being in a second trade with BABA which I will discuss later. This is my first live double trade in 7 months. I have been double trading a lot in SIM and it has been OK. Four minutes after that the price popped again and I took two partials. AAPL went on a big run after my last partial which I missed. I still have a lot to learn on patience. Almost immediately after I took the AAPL trade, BABA had a really nice setup. I first thought too bad I will miss it. Then I thought I have been managing dual trades on SIM quite well. Actually, I have been managing it a bit better than single because I don’t (can’t) look at every tick. BABA created a really nice hammer. The price found support on the 200MA-1min and 176.58 tech level and bounced to create the hammer. I went long when it broke the 177 daily level. My target was the 177.94 daily level and my stop the 200MA-1min. I entered the trade just before the 1min mark so I can call it a 1min ORB. Price had a slight pull back then started moving up. My partialing wasn’t much better than my AAPL trade. But nerves from my first dual trade made my bad partialing even worse. Too bad there were some nice levels to take partials on. And I missed the big run on BABA as well. Score card (live trades): AAPL BABA 90% 92% What I did good today: Two good setups. What I am grateful from today? Was able to manage two trades simultaneously. What do I need to improve on: The partialing was bad even for me. Either trade, managed correctly, could have been the one trade that made my whole week.

1 pointCMEG is a good choice if you are trading a small account. (less than 1000 shares) Short list could be better. it is not as good as IB. I haven't had any problems when transferring funds. However, International wires can sometimes be tricky. Yes, it comes with a DEMO account. Kasper

1 pointSeptember 5, 2019 - Nothing I had $MU, $SIG, and $CIEN on my opening watchlist and did not get my entry with any of these stocks. It did feel good to watch the charts all morning without the FOMO because I knew my entries were not preset. I switched my display after 30 minutes and started looking for moving average cross-overs. I did not get any to appear in the time I had to trade. I was planning to come back for the afternoon, but work over took my lunch so I ended up not getting to trade. Better luck tomorrow. 1 pointPerfect entry on HOME. It's one of those entries that you point to after you see the chart at the end of the day and say, "that is where I wished I entered."

1 pointThursday September 5th, 2019 Sleep: 7.5 hours. Mood: better than yesterday. i was feeling crappy about my six losses in a row this week and my struggle with waiting for pullbacks. I had a chance to watch the Bellafiore interview and it was a good reminder that i am still really new to trading and that i have a long way to go. it did a really good job of putting my progress in perspective. Also i need to do a better job understanding the overall market and the catalysts in the stocks i'm trading. SPY is up breaking the 284 - 294 range it's been in for the month of August. watch list today was $CIEN, $SIG, $LYFT, $WORK, and $HOME. $SIG had an earnings beat and raised guidance with the stock up over 20% pre-market and has a short interest of 26%. my plan was to take it long if the setup was there. So the first trade i did in $SIG did an ORBU (3/4). i took it long on a pullback to VWAP after a 2min engulfing and closing above VWAP. it did break the pre-market high but just couldn't go higher and i got out before my stop on the break of VWAP. i'm overall really pleased with this trade, i waited for a pullback to support to get in. had a stop loss that was a level though probably too far and i got out when i saw it wasn't working. GOOD: i like everything about this trade. RFI: could have decreased my risk MOOD: good CONSISTENT: yes. i tried to take $SIG long again on a wedge trade (2/4) on the 5min chart. got in before the break that never happened. had several chances to get out early that i didn't take and when i got out at my stop, it blew through so hard i lost 10 cents on slippage. yikes. grading myself a +1 for a setup that i trade even though it wasn't the best wedge and +1 for my stop loss level was at a new 5min low. +0 for trade management and the HOPM not being 2R from my entry. GOOD: got out of the trade RFI: could have bailed earlier, not a great setup, too early on the entry, have to wait for the breaks then get in MOOD: not too pleased with this trade CONSISTENT: yes, i can't help the slippage, i got out at my stop. $HOME gapped down on mixed earnings and guidance but i felt that it wasn't that terrible of news so i was also long biased. saw that is was making a pretty nice ABCD (3/4) so i got in on a pullback to the moving averages after it starting making new 2min highs on volume. really happy with this trade. i did botch the selling a little bit. i don't mind the first sell because that was over 2R and it wasn't really moving, i don't like the second sell because it was out of fear and not price action, had i just waited a minute longer i could have sold at my price target. this should probably be a (4/4) but i'm going to leave it. GOOD: setup, entry, R;R RFI: selling could have been better MOOD: happy CONSISTENT: yes. What i did good today: finally got a winner! much better entries today, excluding the second $SIG trade What i did bad today: second $SIG trade could have been skipped all together What can i do better tomorrow: keep trading setups and waiting for good entries.

1 point5/9/19 feel good today decent sleep. such a frustrating day. ended up quite in the red, first time ive really experienced greed and it really messed me up when i should be in the green. 10 trades: 1 winner (wedge breakup) 1 should be winner but got greedy (pendant) 8 losers (5 min ORB, engulfing open x 2, no setup x 4, wedge breakdown) Trade 1: 5 min ORB, volume seemed bearish, got in on a pullback made a hotkey error and got in twice but apart from that it was a great trade that didnt go my way. no complaints here. Trade 2: this was pretty bad, second 5 min candle engulfed the first so got in with a bad entry, stopped out, got in again, stopped out. broke my rule of only doing 1 trade at the open. Trade 4: i was waiting for a VWAP bounce to go long but got impatient so went long, added and stopped out, clearly my psychology was messed up by this point. Trade 5: then traded it the other way when i created a wedge in my head, stupid trade. Trade 6: same thing again. Trade 7: simple overtrading. Trade 8:this was a better wedge and got in just before the pop. Trade 9: wedge breakdown, got a late entry and it didnt really have any juice so stopped out. Trade 10: this trade REALLY messed me up. saw a pendant, got in just before the pop, added on the way up but i was late because i havent configured the add to exsisting position hotkey yet, and i was about 6 Rs up on this trade and wouldve been well in the green if i got out but i got really greedy and held it hoping it would go higher since i already made so much so quickly and ended up losing everything.

1 point9-5-19 4.5 hours sleep, just a tad groggy..... SSS and some coffee and toast.... PAT: My continued problem is that I continue to get out too early...... Use playbook on all trades and refer to sticky notes frequently..... I am not going to have much time today for the market SIG first trade... Playbook #1 ......... 5min ORB small size and added on the pull back.... 2/1 RR .... Out 50% twice then all out on Price action change..... second ......... Playbook #2....... VWAP false breakout, small size added at break of VWAP and stopped out below VWAP..... a hopeful 12/1 RR......... +19.00 MU first and second....Playbook #1........ 10min ORB with ABCD....... both with bad RR of 1/1..... Stopped out on first with reentry for the second.... listened too much to others and got out unplanned and it ran without me... I will come back to look for a trend on this one.... (77.00) CIEN Playbook #1 ..... 10 min ORB without good confirmation and bad RR at 1.5/1 ...... stopped out below my stop because of very fast action and a very bad spread..... (42.00) MU Playbook #3 .......... entered with 1/2 size on the pull back to the 9ma on 1min without a new low on the 5 and or 15 ..... will look for a possible add if it stays consolidated but stays above the 9ma on the 5min here or take some small profits if it runs.....1045 looking a little bit like I am gonna get stopped out again for a final red day...... stopped out.... (20.00) Cons: took trades without good confirmation and not so good RR , #1 out of my Playbook (ORB with confirmation of ABCD on 1 or 2 min).......... I have been trying to hold onto the stocks without partialing so much but it has been working against me for the last 5 trading days or so, I will go back to what was working for me with more smaller partials and taking full or close to full share sizes upon entry...... Pros: stopped trading when I felt like I was max loss which I was within 30.00...... R = 50.00 first big loss in a couple weeks of ..... (120.00) Be back to finish this tonight or tomorrow..... Discovered something about DAS SIM...... I can not bring up previous days trades or P&L......

1 pointHey BBT Nation! My name is Blake, and I'm from southern Alberta, Canada. I am a small business owner and have always been thinking of something more engaging to do with both my time and capital. I started slowly learning about investing and then came across day trading. I have been reading books, watching YouTube videos, podcasts, etc., and just familiarizing myself with trading. I've also done some spelunking around other communities until I found Bear Bull Traders in March of this year. I have been watching the Pre-Market show religiously since then (shout out to @Norm and @Carlos M. for making it as informative as it is entertaining haha) While also just devouring all the great content on the BBT YouTube channel by everyone. Really great stuff! At the same time, reading both of Andrew's books. I love all the moderators here (I don't want to leave anyone out, you guys all rock seriously!) Everyone part of the community seems really friendly and supportive. Good vibes here. So as of September 1st, 2019, very happy to be a member of the BBT Community! Looking forward to continuing this enjoyable journey with you all! Kudos.
