    I have an idea for a monthly meetup for all us Los Angeles + surrounding areas based traders. This would be more of a technical/psychological/trade discussion rather than just a fun time of dinner and drinks. Maybe we would bring our laptops, some trades to discuss, our trading journals or anything else trade related. I live in the Pasadena area and if I were to lead this would want to do it close to hear as it seems like a fairly central spot for everyone in LA as well as our Orange County and San Diego traders who might want to come. What do you all think? Ideas, suggestions, thoughts are very very welcome . . .

    April 2, 2019 - $JAMD (Sim) I missed an entry on $AMD as I hesitate just a little bit because I did not want to trade before the 5 minute mark. I than looked for a 15 min Orb, but did not find anything. I decided to sim trade a VWAP reversal on $AMD. I got before my stop as it took to long to develop, but I was ready to get back in if it broke my entry point again, which it did. Made it all the way to VWAP and I wanted to see if it could run some more as their seemed to be a lot of buyers. I got out just above break-even when the stock engulfed the previous 5 minute candle.     @WilliamH, Thank You for the insight and support and making feel that I am not alone. Risk Controls- in general terms those are 'Duration' (time in the stock), 'Volume' (position size- which I am working on to reduce and go smaller ). Will research on any specific tech Risk Controls that we can set up on DAS in specific (other than SL) - I use TOS for trading. Its like no kid can learn bike riding with out falling or scraping their knees or elbows including my little one will keep going. After all "Greens" are mine and "Reds" are to my husband LOL

    I am also guilty of taking risky trades which I would have never done with my live account. I agree with Carlos' suggestions and add following to make challenge as close to reality as possible. Limit position size to Max 25-33% of equity (Can DAS enforce?) Limit Max Loss 2% of equity per trade (Auto stop), example: For $30,000 equity. Max loss $600 per trade Limit Max Loss 10% of equity per day (Auto stop), example: For $30,000 equity. Max loss $3,000 per day. This way, PDT rule triggers after two consecutive days of losing @ Max Loss Use IB Fixed rate commissions ($0.005 per share, min $1 per trade), No ECN fees. These limits may seem too restrictive for game trading, but are very generous for real life trading. Also, I think it will be good idea to allow people to post their trade log for challenge everyday so we can learn from each other's trade activity.

    Hey guys, so I received the Genovation Control Pad on Friday and had it all setup and programmed in a manner of minutes! What I love about it is when you program it, the information is stored on the pad directly, so there's no additional software that you have to leave running on your machine to accept the inputs. What's cooler is I can take it and plug it into any computer and it will still work! I also noticed while using it today that it is so much faster/more responsive than using HIDMacros and the other keypad I was using. I was actually surprised as to how fast it works. Here's a picture of it: As you can see I have all of my hotkeys for TradeStation programmed. It's definitely worth the $72 on AMZN!
