Hi all, Does anyone know why DAS does not have the Futures Continuous Contract adjusted to the rolling contract of the next quarter after porevious quarter is finished? or this is a temporary glitch? Chat support said that basically this is how it is and maybe they will take it into consideration for future updates. (I'm thinking what's the point of paying for the futures sub in this case) Example: #NQ is the Continuous Contract and when you compare it to the #NQU3 current rolling quarter contract (Sept Expiration, this quarter now as we are in June already) some levels don't match up (which is normal but there is no option to see the adjusted #NQ) - see pictures attached, comparison to Trading View #NQ Continuous Contract Adjusted - so using DAS #NQ in this case is useless. If you are to use ONLY Current Rolling Contract #NQU3 you cannot see the past/ historical data from year before or years back, which makes it useless for setting your levels based on historical data. So basically useless in both cases, unless there is a temporary issue (a month already though) or there is another way to see the chart of #NQ adjusted Continuous contract. Anyone know how to overcome this or how this "issue" can get to DAS developers so it's being actioned? and not just sitting under the rug? Cheers! Lucian

Hey Justin, Is there any hotkey script that can do the same regardless if you are short or long, meaning, if I get long will sell 50%, and if I am short will buy 50% - this to reduce the number of hotkeys and not have separate one for long and short, not sure it is possible

I was thinking just now, when I become CPT I will get STARLINK - that should be best solution, I guess. The Virtual Machine not sure works for me as I record my screen, 49" so I have all data on one monitor...will check next few days how the connection is and decide. Cheers!

Hey guys, I moved from Melbourne to Perth and I noticed the same issue, I haven't traded much in Melbourne due to time zone and work so I am not sure how it was there. @mikez do you still use the cloud solution ? I would assume that you have tried VPN but would not make a difference.... I understand you are based in Syd? @cesar I got NBN , where are you based? have you found a solution ? I did found a solution, but to start with... indeed everyone has same issue....IBKR is crap you have to press every single time on that option put or call before placing any order IN or OUT, every damn time....the work around it is using Elgato Stream Deck or CorsAir pad/ keyboard and program it (on Elgato is called Super Macro plugin, easy to do even if you are not a programmer if you do some YouTube & google search)...so the "programing script on SUPER Macro of Elgato" will mimic LEFT Mouse click and then after a short delay that you prgram will execute you desired action Place Order to get in or OUT...but that means you should not move your mouse from that option Putt/ CALL honestly doesn't worth putting up with all the BS of platform IBKR is, better get the add on Subscription on DAS Trader / OPRA LVL1 $25 and trade directly from DAS, works great so why not use that.

Hey gang! I got this issue using IBKR Options Trader... My problems is that when I use my hotkeys after activating an option by pressing either C or P (call or put) in the option chain, the hotkey works without any issues, but if I try to exit for example or add, or any order for that matter, the hotkey does not work anymore. To be able to use the hotkey I have to press again that specific option and then the hotkey desired. In a nutshell for each stroke of the hotkey I have to press the specific option, which would to purpose of the hotkey To note that I am not moving the mouse, activating other window or anything like that, it seems like the Option is loosing FOCUS after each hotkey execution. Thanks in advance! P.S. I hope I can find some help here cause Interactive Brokers Customer service is being rubbish so far....lost couple oh hours...on the phone and waiting in line, being pass by one to another, calling tech from US, Australia....etc....not the first time when I get poor experience with them.

The Solution is: You have to create a new layout from Scratch, and in the Option Trader window "settings" select/ tick the option: "Link Options Chain to Windows Group" explanation in the Screenshot Attached

Hi guys, I'm having this issue with my TWS, on Options Trader when I press either C or P next to Strike Price, the option is not activated or loaded, for example in the Quote Details Window so I can then use the hotkeys to place orders. I've attached a PDF describing the issue better I hope, and explanation bellow: Issue: In Options Trader when I click on C (Call) next to the Option Strike Price it does not activate or load on the Quote Details window that Option, although the two windows are linked, so I can't use the hotkeys to place orders. I have not tried Options Trader before on TWS so this would be my first time, I've always been using stocks on this platform using Book Trader. To note that if I use Options Chain and I click on the C (Call) or P (Put) the Strike is loaded into the linked windows like Quote Details, but not on when I use Options Trader. Is there a setting for this? Anyone else having this issue? I know at least it used to work like that. I want to use Options Trader so I can use hotkeys to place MID Price Orders. "CXL ALLSYMB" is canceling all orders on that ticker first and then executes the rest of the script? i.e. Cancels current order and then puts in a new order as specified by the script if I leave it like this? CXL ALLSYMB;ROUTE=LIMIT;Price=Bid ;Share=3;ACCOUNT=TRIBT43217;TIF=DAY;BUY=Send doing the test it seems so...just trying to learn the logic of building scripts now Thanks Peter!

Well, atm using Limit Orders, to limit entry price as these stocks I’m trading can move quite a lot in a second… I am day trading, specifically scalping high beta stocks, they can move very wild, I am entering BUY Limit Order but when the stocks are moving fast Happens that order doesn't get filled, but if I still like the trade and the price and I’m not in the zone of chasing it I want to have the hotkey to replace the order, instead of canceling it and enter again, if it makes sense. I get filled most of the time, not the biggest issue, but want to have a solution for when I’m not getting filled.

Q: How do I create HOTKEY to REPLACE / Refresh Order to the new Price in DAS Trader ? I am looking for a Hotkey command / script so when Hotkey it's pressed it is replacing the order already sent, pending to fill, to the new price - I think REPLACE command needs to be used (???) Example: I send order to buy on the BID, but the price moves higher quickly, I still want to get in the trader at the New BID price, so I press the REPLACE Order hotkey, that refreshes the order price to the new current Bid. To complete the rider agreement DAS Trader - Interactive Brokers IBKR: the first two slots is today's date the third slot is DASTRADER and the forth slot is you U account numbers you will only sign the customer side and upload, don't worry about IB side signature, it will be sent after upload to IB to fully connect the account
