  1. I'm looking for a 4:1 hotkey. Ok let me ask in dummy terms because clearly I'm not smart enough to understand some of what ive been reading lol. I want to risk a dollar amount. for this example lets say its $100 risk long. i want to click on the chart where i want to exit and hit a hotkey / script. if the price goes down to what i defined das will exit the trade automatically and i lose $100. if the price goes up das will sell when i reach a $400 profit automatically. Of course if either action is triggered it cancels the other order. I could use a script for long and short. Hoping someone can help me with this. Thanks
  2. I would not have went short right at a major support level being the PCL & YDHL Looking at the 5 min chart the 3rd candle would have been a better ORB entry (Long) with a better risk / reward. Just my thoughts
  3. The new stream deck xl (32 keys) came out not long ago. I'm currently using the 15 key stream deck and love it. wanting to grab this new stream deck but gonna wait for the price to come down a bit first. its listed at $250 on Amazon.
  4. I found the Bear Bull Trading Community Oct 2018 by listening to Andrews first book on audibles. I knew absolutely nothing about trading. I've now read both Andrews books many times over. I went straight to the online courses and even found a mentor in the community that I work with weekly. The forum is very helpful as well, I have not come across a topic yet that isn't listed there. I put my trading set up in my sunroom so I can watch the birds after most trades. I have found that it calms me after a winning trade or a losing trade. Something about looking at nature recenters me to keep the focus on my trading plan and helps with calming my emotions. I also keep a list of my rules on the cork board behind me and I often glance at it to be sure I'm not breaking any of my rules. To survive the learning curb and manage risk is key!!! 5. I had so much trouble with my genovation 24 I sent it back for a refund. I am using windows 10 as im assuming you are as well. I got the stream deck now and love it. GameStop has them on sale for $115.00. You want to get the 15 key and not the mini if you decide to get the stream deck. Also if you search stream deck here in this forum you will see lots of threads on it with different setups. Hope that helps and good luck.
  6. Great video Brendon! Can you upload the word doc with the scripts so i can copy and paste them in. Typing the scripts out manually reading them from the video is a bit cumbersome. Thanks
  7. I appreciate the help. The PhD comment I made wasn't to be taken literally. Nonetheless it hasn't been a breeze for me, quite the opposite actually. I'm out of town on business until tomorrow but I'll definitely touch base with you when I get back home. Any chance you could look at it on Skype screen share when I do get home? Thought maybe seeing the problem would be easier than me trying to explain it all in text. Either way thanks for the help and I'll be in touch.
  8. programming the keys on this Genovation ControlPad CP24 is a huge pain. If I would have known I needed a PHD to program it I would have bought something else. If you are using windows 10 and buy this be ready for a headache. I hear they are very nice once programmed correctly but at this point, I wouldn't know lol. Can anyone recommend another good keypad that's more user-friendly? I've got about 2 hours in trying to figure this keypad out with no success.
  9. I got my Genovation ControlPad CP24 yesterday. Any advice on how to configure it to my DAS platform would be helpful.
  10. That's what I was thinking but thought I'd ask. Thanks for the input.
  11. should I get the Genovation ControlPad CP24 or the Genovation ControlPad CP48?? I saw multi-posts on the 24 and only one post on the 48. thanks
