1 pointThis is a very long post, but I believe everyone should read this if you have an account with CMEG. I was hoping that CMEG was going to announce something this morning, but it looks like they wont. TL;DR: CMEG’s website had a DNS hijack deployed against it, and was redirecting users to a fake website in order to capture sensitive information. If you have a new user registration pending, or you attempted to log into the Secure Portal recently, at the least, change your password, and think about locking your credit. Facts • CMEG's DNS server was hijacked. (Look at the image below to understand how that works) • The hijack targeted new user registrations, users who had registrations pending, and users attempting to log into the Secure Portal. • The hijackers could have taken very sensitive information. • If you have logged into CMEG recently, you could be exposed. • This does not mean your deposited money isn't safe. • This was fixed in the late evening Feb 28, 2020. What happened? The hijackers redirected the "Open an Account" button/link and the "Secure Portal" login link to go to different URLs. Instead of sending users to the real URLs: https://www.cmelitegroup.com/open-an-account https://secure.cmelitegroup.com/login They were sent to the wrong URLs: https://secure.cmelitegreup.com/pro?pthh=repister https://secure.cmelitegreup.com/pro?pthh=login The fake site was designed to look identical to the real Open an Account page and the Secure Portal login page. Although after attempting to log in it Who does this affect? The hijack affects four types of users: 1. Users that attempted to log into the Secure Portal (further, users that also used the same password for the Secure Portal as they used for their new Account Management account. 2. Users that had a new account registration pending 3. Users that attempted to sign up for a new account (Only your name, email and attempted password could have been taken) What could they have taken? If you either, a) had a registration pending or b) attempted to log into the Secure Portal while the hijack was active they could see this information if your password hasn't been changed: • Name • Tax Return • Social Security Number • Bank Statements • Passport • Drivers License • Messages between you and CMEG One note about the Secure Portal - it is not the same place where you can go to see your account balance, trades, or instigate a withdrawal. These things are in the Account Management page, and use a different login (assuming you didn't use the same password). Additional thoughts This was not a DNS hijack targeting me alone. CMEG didn’t believe me (as the hijack was being hidden on their network - they couldn’t see that their URLs were changed). I verified it by getting different people around the country to test and see that the URL was changed for them too. If you used the same password when signing up for an account (the Secure Portal) as you did when creating a login for the Account Manager, they could log in and see your trades and account size. While I think people's money is safe, unfortunately the withdrawal request is simply a PDF document; the hijackers would have all the information needed to request a withdrawal. That being said, I believe it would not work because: 1. CMEG does require KYC (Know Your Customer) documentation. So the name on the bank account would have to be yours (although they could set up a new bank account in your name with all the information they could have taken). 2. Hopefully they would see the bank information wouldn't match the original deposit method. 3. CMEG would see that the request was coming from a different email address (but maybe they could spoof that too). I do not know how long CMEG's DNS server was hijacked for. So I can't tell you if you're safe if you haven't logged in for the past 1 day, 1 month or 1 year. My belief is that the hijackers would want the lowest hanging fruit: your email. For the sole purpose of trying to send you phishing emails.

1 pointIn addition to the great info by Abeil i also suggest the following link/video which teaches the mechanism of Bid/Offer L2 and T&S. it is taught using Bookmap but can easily be translated into DAS once u understand the mechanics of how/why price moves.

1 point@Marek Liyanage The way I solved this was to create separate desktops in DAS - depending on which monitor conifg I am using. The way to do this is as follows: Back Up Your Default desktop in the DAS Trader Pro Directory just in case (I keep a copy in Dropbox as well as in the local DAS directory) File>Save Desktop - give it a name (I preffix with a date stamp) - defaultBAK.dsk but as long as it is changed from default that's good enough DAS will always load Default.dsk on start up. Plug in your alternative screen arrangement - move all windows, montages etc about around until your happy with the set up - I keep the DAS window in the Laptop main screen, with orders accounts etc but all charts, Montages, T&S are popped out as Justin described) Click File>Save Desktop - give your new desktop unique name say MOBILE1.dsk after you open DAS with the second monitor config all you need to do is click File>Open Desktop>Mobile1.dsk and it will automatically load the config for that monitor set up You can set up as many desktops as you want depending on how many configs you have

1 pointHey Marek, (and anyone else who is having this issue), you can use the Pop Out feature to solve for this problem. In the main window you create a new Montage, Chart, etc. > Right Click on the top bar > Select Pop Out. Then you can drag the windows around to any secondary monitor and position them regardless of the monitor size.

1 pointThe company is pretty solid at this time. Cannot see into future. Regulated and has its origins from couple decades years back. Mastercard card issuer so has tht check box ticked. Andrew opened an acct with them recently. I currently have acct with them BUT am disputing some actions by staff. This may be ur main prob depending on the day of the week. Staff service ! But I went to the top executive management to resolve. I will update here Monday / Tuesday if issues resolved.

1 pointHere is my current setup. Though not built intentionally for day trading, it's getting the job done. PC - Wonderful little computer for productivity, media consumption, and even light gaming. The machine is barely audible from 2 feet away with the silent Noctua fan. It literally fits in the palm of my hand. ASRock DeskMini (Barebones) Intel i7-7700 Integrated Intel HD630 Graphics (no video card!) 32GB DDR4 RAM Samsung 960 EVO M.2 250GB NVME Drive Crucial MX300 525GB SATA SSD 1TB Samsung Hard Drive Noctua NH9-Li CPU Cooler All that performance is crammed into a package that is smaller than Andrew's book! Monitors - Two ultrawides really limits the cable clutter/additional hardware required for a multiple monitor setup. However, there is some ergonomic drawback as the overall height requires quite a bit of vertical neck movement. LG 34UM88-P 34" Flat Ultrawide (top) LG 34UC88 34" Curved Ultrawide (bottom) Mounted to a Vivo STAND-V002T Dual Monitor Vertical Desk Mount Desktop/DAS Layout - I am able to fit 10 montages in DAS which includes: 8 x Stations with 5 min chart, L2, Time/Sales 2 x Stations with 1 min chart, 5 min chart, L2 Time/Sales Central "hub" showing Market Time, Top List, Open Positions, Open Orders, Watch List, Windows Calculator Bear Bull Traders Chat and Andrew's Trade Idea Scanner Most of the time I am watching 5-6 stocks and just keep some low floats up top to avoid any FOMO! Keyboard - MechanicalEagle Z88 RGB Backlit. Fully customizable down to each individual key colour. I use green for long hotkeys, and red for short. Desk - Ikea Malm White Chair - Vertagear S-Line SL2000. Very comfortable for extended sitting. Includes a lumbar cushion and neck/head pillow. I may consider getting a standing desk in the future. Miscellaneous Glorious Extended Gaming Mouse Mat - keeps the white desk nice and clean ALED LIGHT 5050 LED Strip for ambient backlighting behind desk/screens Let me know what you guys think!
