We have similar setups with the large monitor. How do you like it? I've seriously considered switching to a multi-monitor setup. I find I don't want the 3 charts to the side at all (like I planned). It's easier/more natural for me to turn my head to look at another monitor. Not so much a setup, but I remember I snapped this in the chat a week or so back. Also, for those thinking of getting a standing desk. Costco in the states has stock of a decent one for $300 (glass top, embedded USB, electronic, preset levels).

Every weekend, I watch videos of my losing and winning trades. Then I splice/crop them into study categories. For example, in my collection I have spliced videos of only flag formations, and I also have a collection of videos of ORB. Trading the same stock daily has helped me to speed-up my learning by eliminating variables. As a result, my accuracy of entering has increased. For example, I've traded AMD almost everyday since June. Since I'm familiar with this stock, I can almost time my entries just before the breakout. I would keep an eye out on the volume, daily support & resistance levels, and price confirmation on the tape (Level II/T&S). Although I can time my trade entries most of the time, sometimes the stock can breakout in the opposite direction or do nothing at all. From experience, I noticed that laughing at myself has helped me to ease my tension because it reminds me that sometimes price-action is just random.

This is an article abut the differences beteween focus on the outcome vs focus on the process when we are trying to reach our goals or mastering a craft, like day tarding. It’s way easier to focus on the outcome, but the outcome is out of our control. As long as that’s our focus, we´ll continue to waste energy on an outcome we can’t control. But when we choose to focus on the process — attitude, actions, skills, mindset — we shift our focus onto the things we can control. What we need is become fully immersed in the process — studying our craft & honing our skills. If all you want to do is beat the other guy, beat the market, you allow yourself only a fraction of your abilities. Ordinary People Focus on the Outcome. Extraordinary People Focus On the Process.

Good Morning everyone, I would like to let you guys know that I will be back at the chat room this Monday Sept 10th. I was on vacation and setting up my new schedule to know exactly when Im able to trade. Most likely I will be in the room Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and will try to make a trade recap on the forum once a week. Im super excited to be back with my BBT family, trade and exchange some knowledge. Last but not least I will also be attending the NYC meetup Saturday. Best, Fernando.
