Hi all, I am looking for a very basic hotkey script that I can use whereby DAS will automatically calculate the number of contracts to purchase based on a defined $ amount. For example, I wish to buy $1000 worth of an option with a current ask price of $1 (contract price $100) - on punching my hotkey DAS should go ahead and purchase 10 contracts ($1000 / ask*100). Is there a simple hotkey script to achieve this? Also, which window needs to be active when punching the hotkey - the options chain or the montage? I don't know if it affects the script at all, but for reference my broker is IBKR. Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

August 26. 2024 I pretend to show you what I consider the best way to trade if you have a small account. I will be using most of the time simple strategies like 1 and 2 min opening range breakouts and camarilla pivot points. First I traded 1 min ORB the I waited for the break of R3 and traded short. I traded 8 contracts on each direction.

I like to trade spreads that are way out of the money with usually a 90% probability of working out and hold them to expiration. Its a low yield strategy with a high chance of working out. Does anyone know of any good option spread scanners I can use? Or of any good videos on how to configure them either on ThinkorSwim or TWS?

Good afternoon, I am trying to figure out how to trigger a predefined order at a certain option price. Here is my example: Say I have 10 contracts of AMD 75 Calls, and I bought them at $2.00 per contract. I have this hotkey/script "CXL ALLSYMB;ROUTE=LIMIT;Price=Bid;Share=Pos*0.5;TIF=DAY+;SELL=Send;Price=Ask-AvgCost-0.02;TriggerOrder=RT:STOP STOPTYPE:TRAILING StopPrice:Price TrailPrice=Round2 ACT:SELL QTY:POS TIF:DAY+" that I want to fire off automatically when the option price hits $2.50 I have not been able to figure out a way to do this. Hi all, I trade options at the open and look to be in tickers where RVOL is elevated. As i am only able to watch 1 stock at a time as i concentrate heavily on the L2, it is preferable to be watching the higher RVOL stock as soon as the market opens rather than waiting the 30 secs or so to see if i have chosen the right stock and switching to another. I really want to differentiate those that would trade at say 150% to one that is at 300% and am looking for ways to try predict this so i can be watching the 300% one from the start. Currently i keep abreast of any news catalysts in the PM, watch the PM show and keep a close eye on twitter. I have also recently starting looking at https://stocktwits.com/rankings prior to the open which has helped so far. My question is are there any other tools that you use prior to the open to assist or even pre-emptively rank possible high RVOL stocks? I.e perhaps you rank the news catalysts and go with the stronger one. Any input is appreciated! thank you Nader
