  1. Buying a monitor or multiple monitors is definitely a personal preference. I have 4 24" LG IPS monitors that I use for playing games and for trading with and I don't have any issues with them. IPS panels allow you to be able to stand up and still see the same colors as you would if sitting right in front of it. I bought mine off of Newegg.com for roughly $100 each. https://www.newegg.com/lg-24bk430h-b-23-8-full-hd/p/0JC-000D-00610?Item=0JC-000D-00610
  2. The only thing about the Titan chairs is if you don't like the firmer seat you will not like it. Their reasoning behind the firmer seat is that they claim that softer seats tend to lead toward more back issues and the softness will eventually go away to where you are sitting on something even harder in the framing of the seat.
  3. Actually what you need to do is Right click on the bottom section of the Montage and click Style then click on Stop Order and set it to Default.
  4. Snap a pic of your montage with the account blanked out.
  5. Check your Montage to make sure it looks like the following at the bottom: Depending on how you want to setup your stop loss depends on which one of the Stop Types you will use. Market would be the better set if you want to dump all or some of your shares out close to or at the price you set for the Trigger Price. Limit is ok but can get blown by if you are Long and the stock is starting to fall down. The price could skip you Trigger Price. Trailing will follow the price up and will get you out based on how much the price drops from the high based on your Trigger Amount. Range you set the Low Price and the High Price and the Trigger is executed based on the first one that gets hit.
  6. I have the Black w/Suede SecretLab Titan chair for about a year now and I love it. I use it all the time while I work my 8-5 IT job from home I'm 6'5" and weigh about 235lbs and I'm comfortable to be able to sit in it for over 8 hours a day with no issues. I had a car accident where I broke my right ankle and my left clavicle and I do have neck pain and lower back pain from time to time but this chair doesn't make me feel uncomfortable using it for extensive periods of time.
  7. Welcome to the club. I live in VA as about 4-6 hours from you down next to TN. There's lots to learn in this community fromt he education section of the site as well as from the Moderators during the pre-market as well as during the day. Just remember to take it slow and learn as much as you can so that you don't blow up your account.
  8. Just printed a copy of this off so I can fill it out and keep it next to my trading station.
  9. Not sure if this helps to clarify: https://www.knowyourcountry.com/singapore1111 Did you email CMEG customer support to get a reason for the failure?
  10. I looked up that model of Lenova laptop and here is something I found where they tested a comparable model. The IdeaPad 330 is sold in various configurations at a wide range of prices. We tested a $265 budget model with a 15.6-inch, 1366 x 768-pixel display, an Intel Celeron N4100 CPU, 4GB of RAM, and a 500GB, 5,400-rpm hard drive. If it has the 5400 rpm hard drive in it I would definitely do the SSD swap as soon as you can. Those things are terribly slow to load and the I/O can slow down apps opening, running and performance.
  11. Looking at the part at the bottom where it shows Storage Optical Drive means it isn't a SSD. If you want to check to see what kind of drive it is go to computer management and then you should see Device Manager. Find Disk Drives and expand the list to see what it shows. You can follow the link below to find out what kind of drive that is installed on the pc, unless if you click the drop-down list and it shows the actual type of the drive. https://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000497.htm
  12. I just started using the DAS platform screen capture software and it has a button where you can drag across multiple screens to record. I tested it out this past Friday and it works pretty good. There is also a button to do a complete monitor setup capture but I found that it for some reason would only capture live for a few seconds then quit. If anyone wants to try it you can get it from the Tools section of DAS.
  13. Ercilia182 I just started using CMEG this year but here is the only thing I found on their site: Q: Does CMEG report to the IRS on taxes? A: CMEG is FATCA compliant. In accordance with our Legal and Tax Reporting requirements, CMEG provides clients with the relevant W8/W9 forms for reporting purposes.
  14. Sounds like an interesting movie so I'll have to see if I can find it to watch. I like the t.v. show Billions and both The Wolf of Wall Street movies.
  15. I just signed it as well. That would be nice if they would as it might keep traders from going out of the United States to International Brokers so they can trade with the money they have available to them. I can swing having a membership and the tools but not the $25k or $30k minimum depending on the broker you choose.
  16. Hey all, My name is Matthew Hileman , I live in Southwest Virginia and I have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science with a major in Software Engineering. My current job, for the past 5 years, is a Database Administrator at Northrop Grumman. Before that I worked as a Help Desk Analyst at the same company for 4.5 years. I've been interested in stocks for years and finally started learning about trading on a daily and swing basis. I've read both of Andrews books as well as used tradingview for the simulator and looking at stocks and understanding the way stocks move. Right now I'm setting up a trading account with CMEG and hope that I can profit enough to get past the PDT rule with a broker here in the U.S.
