  1. There are things you learn about your psychological self when you're on you trading journey that you wouldn't otherwise learn; like why you think the way you think, why you see the world the way you do and how that affects your daily life. I would never have connected these parts of me to trading but I've learnt that 80% of being a successful trader is in my thinking, and if I figure out the thinking part, consistency will follow. This has been an incredible realization. Trading is the hardest and best thing I have ever tried to do. Period.
  2. Just started live trading with CMEG and ECN was included at start so I don't know any better. Thanks for all the info guys! If I was not in a trading community, I'd be dying out there. Good to have a place with great minds as resources.
  3. Awesome dude. I took the same trade on BB - it was a steady mover and I got in at around 11.50 and got out in one move at 11.98
  4. Hi BBT, My name is Thomas (Thomas K in chat) and I live in the Dallas area. My journey to this community started with managing my small retirement account and wanting to know more about the stock market, then reading and researching about the different types of trading, then to testing out other trading communities and even a short stint with a forex, and then on to almost joining another day trading community from the East Coast, but deciding against it, thankfully! The turning point was reading Andrew's first book - I could hardly put it down! There's no denying that that book beats most, if not all, day trading books out there. But I am biased, obviously! So I've been in SIM and receiving great mentorship and support from greats like Carlos for the last 2 months. I hope I can go live after month 3 but I am leaving open the possibility that I might need to stay in SIM longer because I really want to get this right, especially the psychology of it, and that just takes time and there are no shortcuts there, I feel. My hope is to someday make enough from trading that I can stop worrying about money but keep my day job, which I enjoy most days - Thomas
  5. Thanks for the review Brendon! Anyone with more feedback, please provide it regarding.... 1. How to set up the account/a trade to prevent great losses if their platform refuses to close a position. 2. Your experience pulling money out after making gains
