Friday March 22nd, 2019 Sleep: 8 hours. Mood: good, ready to trade. Only took one trade today, a double bottom in AMD. i missed the downtrend in AMD and MU and i was looking for a reversal around 10 o'clock. i liked AMD because it looked like it might pop on that PPDH level. i waited for a new 5min high and got in a little early and i went full size. it came down to my $10 stop but i gave it a little more room because that's a normal pullback and not a new low. It ended up hitting my target and i sold half then half again when it struggled to make a new 5min high. got out all at my b/e. i think i have enough trades now to see if i should be getting all out on my final partials at new 5min lows. i'm going to look over the trades over the weekend. GOOD: waited for a new 5min high to enter the trade. sold at planned price RFI: need to sell more at my target. 75% at target then 12.5% at the next level then hold the rest. MOOD: good, should have got all out when it stalled over the VWAP. CONSISTENT: yes, i followed my plan. What i did good today: took one good trade. What i did bad today: I could have bailed on my final partial and then reversed the trade to the downside. What can i do better tomorrow: sell more at profit targets, hold lessto b/e.

Thanks Brandon, It has not come without a lot of frustration on the multiple days in a row of not getting a setup. I am almost through this sample set and then I get to introduce the 5 min Orb into my live trading. Baby steps

Mike, you seem to have a lot of patience. I've been looking for ways to change my personality to add that in my trading. I'm rock solid on not trading the first 5-minutes and low floats, but struggling to resist on not trading at all.

March 19, 2019 - Deja Vu - Maybe yesterday was an insight into today. I just noticed I put today's date on yesterday's post. It felt like I had the exact same day as yesterday. Good 5 min Orb and engulfing patterns, but not much for the 15 min orb. I figure I just reconfirming my discipline to stick my trading plan. I am hopeful tomorrow will be different. Great video suggestions. Marginal adjustments to achieve great results.

Yup, read the fine print right after I posted my "awesome" plan. So I either have to consider the yearly or do monthly without the promotion. Still the other question still remains about the necessity of Trade Ideas for a new trader who has access to BBT chatroom. Thanks.

March 15, 2019 - Nothing Today I really was focused and looking to find a good entry to take, because I wanted to go into the weekend on a high note. Although, I did not take a trade I happy to go into the weekend not violating and rules and getting ready for next week. On a side note, went to my first track meet for my daughter this morning and I have determined I am going to have to change my weekend routine a little bit to accommodate the amount of time at the track in the sun. Wow that was a long day. Sample Set Results P G S G S 6 7 8 S S P G G S G S S 18 19 20

The 25% discount only applies to one payment. If you choose the monthly plan, you’ll get 25% off the first month. If you choose the annual plan and pay it all at once, you’ll get 25% off the entire amount. Annual is a much better deal. You can double check with them on this, but that’s how the discount has usually been applied.

Trade Ideas is running a St PAtrick's day promotion at the moment 25% off and I think I'll subscribe to the Standard monthly plan which shouldn't cost an arm and a leg. Having a scanner in the chatroom is great, but the eventual goal is to be independent and I think I should learn how to build/use the scanners on my own. Also, would be nice to have access to the system beyond the market hours. Thoughts?

I think it helps to trade in the afternoon (eastern time) at first because you have time to think and see all of the different things you are looking for. The start is overwhelming until you have been doing this for a while.

I would like an alert to sound when the price crosses the 9 ma on my 5 min. Chart. Is it possible?

I got hotkeys set up at -20 cents and +20 cents (Ctrl+B for short trades and Ctrl+S for long) that I enter as soon as I get into trades so the market can't screw me too much. Then, I double click on my stop order so the price and the amount of shares are filled in the boxes. Then I change the trigger price to be exactly where I want it and click the replace button. That's the quickest and safest way I found to enter a stop loss. The only thing you have to pay attention to with this setup is to remember to switch the amount of shares on your stop loss when you sell some and put your stop at break even. If not your gonna end up buying some shares to the other side. I hope this helps.
