ADVM PB#3 on first one and overtrading out of boredom on second, both stopped out..... -2.5R WORK PB#3 .... Did not take proper share size (about half) ..... took partials and adds for a nice trade that could have been managed a bit better..... still have a micro amount left that I will let run for either BE or 28.00 ..... ended up getting stopped at BE .... +3.5R Cons: Overtraded out of boredom..... First trade in SIM and by mistake..... bounce off the VWAP on the 5 and the 20 on the 2, partial on slow down of the tape and all out on consolidation and reason that I am missing better opportunities +2R WORK PB#3.... first entry was jumping the gun anticipating an ABCD on the 5min.... second back at 9 on 2min and again anticipating ABCD again.... third trade was same attempt.... mistake made when I did not get out when Powell came on to speak with profit and let it run to stop again.... -4R Cons: Overtrading.... This looks like a mess because I took trades in SIM and Live played off 13.07 and waited for the break of the 9ema on the 2min, the second partial was a hotkey mistake and correction...... my first Live entry was PB#3, third green arrow.... My sim and live trades were almost equal at +1R each Tried another trade right before I needed to get to other business and stopped on necessity +0.5R L +1R SIM LYFT PB#1/PB#3 (combo bonus) 5min ORB with ABCD on 1 and 2min trending the 9ema on the 1min and breaking VWAP..... a partial and add..... last two partials were from chop and all out of the market to take care of other business.... +2.6R CONS: Overtraded the last one of TEVA..... I was a little late on break of 28.94.... I figured if it broke .64 with momentum we should be good to 28.00.... the first partial was a little early but felt like it was a good time to lock in profits.... stop was at the top of the candle body on the 1min so I was in for a small share size..... I missed adds and partials as I was in and out with a new windshield being replaced.... +2.6R Cons: missing partials and adds..... Pros: took premarket plan and ran with it.... Choosing SIM or Live CGC PB#1 Accidental Live on both.... and both stopped out -2R IMGN PB#3.... ABCD on 1min trending / bouncing off the 9ema on the 2min, also above a resistance level... stopped out at break of old resistance... -1R CARG PB#7, a new play for me. 15min Reversal... on the second 15min new high along with the close above VWAP, MAs crossed on the 1min and are about to cross on the 2min, 2min MAs slopping to the 50, a new trend on the 5 and 2min and L2 asks.... two partials, add and all out on momentum on the short side on T&S.... +2.6R Cons: Traded live on PB#1 Pros: did not trade out of revenge on IMGN after learning I was Live on accident in CGC PB Trade: CARG Rs: -0.4R Edited February 16, 2020 by Glenn Budde Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Glenn Budde 356 Posted February 16, 2020 2-10 to 2-14-20 What I did bad this week: I jumped the gun on 1 day Over-trading on 3 days Trade management could have been a little better on 2 days Traded Live on PB#1, two trades 1 day What I did good this week: Respected my in trade and daily stops Got out after either stop for the day or a goal in mind and did not trade the rest of the day as planned on all days Getting better on Live PB#3 trades only Took PM Plan and ran with it and happy with most of my entries Changes to be made this upcoming week: Need to keep it to only PB#3 in Live account, I have set up my main montage to Live only and the other two to SIM only. I will work on this for a couple weeks Work on my Trend Scalps as Scalps and not long term Trends Rules to stick by this upcoming Week: After I call it a day by either MAX Loss, Profit Target or what I am comfortable with, only use the rest of the day for Chat, Journal, Playbook ect. In-Trade and Daily Stops Do Not chase or revenge trade Live Only one loosing trade before 1100 Challenges for myself this upcoming Week: Only A or better setups at time of trade On mic trades only with my small group Take a planned break at 1100-1200 for other Bus. @ 0905 do some exercise and then meditate to calm myself Stay unbiased Notes: Rules are not to be broken, these will cost money every time My Challenges are almost as important as my Rules, Pay attention to them If I feel overtired I will try going back to bed and coming back to Trend Trades later.... KR PB#1... 10min ORB making an ABCD on 2min but a bit early on the entry.... I need to go back to my proven ABCD entries -1R FLR PB#3 .... SSR set order for a retrace of a weak stock trending the 9ema on the 2min.. three 25% partials and an add on the pop to the 9ema on the 2min. , thinking here at this time of day I could have waited for the 9ema on the 5min instead... got all out on a second new 15min high +4.6R Cons: bad entry on KR, could have waited for the add on FLR and would have seen the first 15min new high saving me money.... Between the spread was so large and no volume I took opps to take two partials and all out at BE +0.8R VIAC PB#3 ..... Trending the 9ema on the 1min. Forming a nice ABCD on the 1 and 2min. Took two partials and all out for +1.7R ... tried another trade on it and stopped for -0.5R +1.2R Cons: Called VIAC as a reversal to VWAP but did not take it Pros: In two and done for the day. WORK PB#1.1 Stopped out of first one, PB#3 Second one I meant to get in for more shares so that I can take it as a scalp, I did not so I held it at 29.20 (where I should have scalped it) and stopped at just below BE on new info from price action, L2 and T&S -1.4R DBX PB#1 Entered just before the new 5min on a pull back with good L2... added when it pulled back further still with good L2 signals and all out when the L2 Bids looke like they were taking over PB#3 Trend Scalps, Looking for just some quick profits in scalping the trend as my time is limited this morning.... both worked out and brought this ticker to just a tad green +0.4R Cons: accidentally took my first trade on DBX in Live Pros: Respected my stop loss and adjusted for smaller losses during the trade PB Trade: none Rs: -1R Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
