Glenn Budde 356 Posted January 25, 2020 1-21 to 1-24-20 What I did bad this week: I jumped the gun not waiting on proper confirmation After talking about the 9 crossing below the 20 I still took a trade long I failed to get in on a couple trades with too much hesitation Missed a good add opportunity What I did good this week: My pre-market plans (IF/Thens) panned out Used L2 and T&S for adding along with patterns and MAs Left the desk to prevent revenge trading Feel like I found a good small group of 3 traders (including me) that I can relate to and stay calm with while trading throughout the day Changes to be made this upcoming week: Only PB#3 for Live trading Allow all time frame trading in SIM but only with A setups Starting this past week I have lowered my R value to $5 Rules to stick by this upcoming Week: After I call it a day by either MAX Loss, Profit Target or what I am comfortable with, only use the rest of the day for Chat, Journal, Playbook ect. In-Trade and Daily Stops Do Not chase or revenge trade Take only PB#3 Live Only one loosing trade before 1100 Challenges for myself this upcoming Week: Only A or better setups at time of trade No BBT Voice Chat before 1000 Take a planned break at 1100 for other Bus. @ 0905 do some exercise and then meditate to calm myself Stay unbiased Notes: Rules are not to be broken, these will cost money every time My Challenges are almost as important as my Rules, Pay attention to them If I feel overtired I will try going back to bed and coming back to Trend Trades later.... Glenn Budde 356 Posted January 27, 2020 1-27-20 AIS 0800, 4 hours PAT: Focus.... SIM vs LIVE ...... Notes: Keep my eye on SPY Going to keep it a little more simpple here as I have spending way more of my limited time in my playbook INTC PB#1.1 2min ORB...... 1min setting up for an ABCD but never got there... I jumped the gun on this one...... the second entry was a mistake and covered right away -2R LK PB#1, PB#3 5min ORB with a pullback to the 9ema on the 1 and 5min, broke above VWAP with trend adds after the first partial.... alll partials were 50% and all adds back to original entry..... last entry exit was a second trade that I just took a BE on, this is where I should have called it a day..... +9R TCOM PB#3 .... Trending the 9 on the 5min ... stop was below PMH... three partials, add, partial, add, 4 partials leaving me with tiny share size... added back on twice for a grand total of about 25% of original size (these adds were pure speculation and I was only risking what profit was left which was nil) ... Also took some trades later in the day for a chop fest that ended up decreasing my Rs by 3 and I also let one of my stops run past.... -1R MRNA PB#3 Trending the 9 on the 5min with ABCD on the 2min, stopped out ..... second entry was still a trend that I should not have exited the first time, took two partials , add and all out...... First entry was apx 1/2 size and second entry was full size.... -3R CONS: Jumped the Gun.... Early exit... Over Trading in the afternoon... Let one run past my stop Pros: Had a nice calm morning and felt in control Playbook Trade: TCOM Rs: +3.5

LK PB#1.1 The First entry had a .30 slip and stopped out for more than I wanted, gave it another try just before the 5min ORB and stopped out again... -3R Per my trading plan if I am up 1R I am supposed to stop at -1R Took two more LK trades in the afternoon, both went to stop for -2R MRNA PB#3 ..... Trend trade with 15min ORB... All partials were 50%... the first two adds were back to full size then after that the next two adds were up to 50% of full size.... missed a partial at 1002 and an add at 1048 ... both I was I was watching but failed to pull the trigger +4R Cons: Felt like I jumped the gun a bit on both the LK entries, SIM needs to be treated just as LIVE.... Glenn Budde 356 Posted January 30, 2020 1-29-20 AIS 0845, 4 hours, 6/10 PAT: jumping the gun on PB#3 ... Missing out on adds and partials when I know I should LB PB#1.1 / 1 Jumped the gun on the 1min ABCD on the first entry but did go my way tried to add on what I was seeing as an ABCD and now I see it is the D and stopped out. -1R AMD PB#3 First entry I jumped the gun again on the first entry as this was not an ABCD yet, I stopped out above VWAP, My mistake here also was that I was only looking at the ABCD when this was a trend play and I should not have stopped out as it diod not break the 9ema on the 5min ..... Second entry was an Actual ABCD which was confirmation of the 5min trend, partials were 50% and first add was for full size, the next two adds brought it back to about 1/2 size and then stopped.... the last trade at 1024 was stopped on what looked like a reversal to VWAP...... and the last one was taken on accident as I thought I was in SIM but in LIVE instead so I got out quickly (a reversal to VWAP which is a PB setup I have not worked on much) +2R GE PB#3 .... Trending the 9 on the 5 with an ABCD on the 2 and above all moving avg. along with no new low on the 5 or 15min.... took way too small share size on the first one and the partial was only 0.2R, I added in twice for a full size, took 50% off and out at BE +1R Cons: Jumped the gun ...... misread two ABCD setups.... Pros: correcting mistakes calmly while in the trade ..... Playbook Trade: AMD Rs:
Glenn Budde 356 Posted January 30, 2020 1-30-20 AIS 0805, 3 hours, 5/10 Pat: Jumping the gun CCL PB#1.1 2 min ORB, strength on tape and break of .91 level, in a last 15min pre-market uptrend.... took too small share size .... three partials with one missed op on an add at 0939... added on the return to the 9ema on the 2min added a second time and all out on the break of a new 15min low + 2R took two more trades later and both were stopped out - 2R Cons: Over trading on a stock the had already made my day very early..... I will need to leave today at noon for family stuff.... XOM PB#1 ..... 10min ORB, looked like it was setting up for an ABCD on the 2min but I jumped the gun.... also my DAS froze for a couple seconds and cost me about 6 cents slip..... all out at full stop from entry that I wanted.... I called out the short at 1000 for .96 but did not take it, the other trader in my group took it and was very happy, LOL..... need to trust my call outs as this was not the only one..... -1.5R 1 CL PB#3 ...... pull back to the 20ema on the 5min and bouncing off 73.90 level.... 50% partial, added back in and took it back off after I was not happy with the price action.... added in again and took a 50% and all out at new BE +2R ADNT PB#3 .... entered after a pullback and 25.09 looked like the new support..... took three partials and added in twice .... all out on time constraint ..... I am very upset with myself as I called out PM that if it holds 23.70 (this PM Level along with a strong 23.75 Daily Level was my signal) that it was a good long, there is no reason I did not take this on the break of VWAP as this was my PM plan...... +2.5R . PM Plan was to break 68 with momentum, it did and I went long but the momentum quickly disappeared and I stopped out... I went wrong when I gave it another try without a good plan and stopped out again -2.0R LK PB#1.... 15min ORB with an ABCD on the 2min, I Jumped the gun here and needed to wait for the correct entry which was a min later than my stop at the top of that candle...... My second trade should have been an add after a partial but it is what it is and eventually Ill get back to waiting on my confirmation... after second entry I took two partials and all out..... tried a third time with small size and added to it as I failed to see the MAs crossing on the 2min.... all out.... -0.6R AIMT PB#3 2min trending the 9ema.. took my first entry on the bounce of the 9ema and the second entry was a mistake as I was in the wrong montage, also the next partial was the same mistake...... I added back in when I realized the mistake about 4min later but I should have thought about it more before I added back in...... all out for a total loss instead of at least a 1R win ... all on mistakes in the montage -0.2R PCG PB#3 A little late to the party when I brought this to my screen but still made a decent entry trending the 9ema and making a nice ABCD on the 2min... I added in riding the 9ema on the 2min.... didnt like the add after a couplke minutes so I took off the add and in doing so it brought my average down 1.5 cents...... then I went a little christmas tree after that and once I was out of the trade all together I realized I was over-trading and trading my P$L so I need to be done for the day.... +2.6R Cons: Jumped the gun.... Very small size here..... 5min ORB, break of VWAP, strong T&S and L2... with a nice tight stop and a target of the 50ma on the 2min and or break of the 20ema on the 5min ... got all out because of the small size where I should have partialed... +1.3R TWTR PB#1..... 10min ORB, ABCD on 2min, above Mas took a partial and added in for a trend PB#3 ..... Good trade but bad management ....... trending the 9ema on the 2min, after the first partial I was talking about the add at just before 1100 and did not take it (Ted did, LOL), took two more partials and added in on a bad spot when I was calling for it to go to the 20ema on the 5min...... Partial add and two more partials I am just OK with... the last two adds were not on a clear head and ended up stopping at BE.... +4.2R Cons: Trade Management could have been much better as I need to listen to what I am pitching in my group...
