Say i funded my account with $2500 USD, i buy APPL with 100% buying power at 935 AM and sell at 940 AM, do have the fund available rightaway to trade more or would there be a day to 2 days hold on my funds before i can trade again? Hi Guys, Rookie question: so i just got done with 3 months on Sim, now going to live trading. I subscribed for DAS on IB. Transferred funds from my canadian account to my IB account, does this limit me to only canadian exchange or i can trade on NYSE and NASDAQ? Also do I lose money on conversion every time i trade in US market?

i am confused, on the montage, sometimes it shows, SHORT and sometimes SELL, why is that. if i am in a long position, and want to sell, when i press short it doesnt work. Is there anything i am doing wrong. I only do long orders. (in SIM)

As an example, when someone say "NIO is looking great today for bullish activity", i have no idea how are they predicting it. I hope it make sense.

Hi Seniors / BBT Team. I have been doing paper trading, with the total buying power of $2500 (thats what i am expecting to fund in real world). Trying to make it as realistic as possible. I keep journal of every trade i take. Attached is the data from first 40 trades. Percentage looks good to me, but i feel i lack the understanding on analyzing the stocks. This could be a premature post since i am pretty new, but looking for some guidance on how can i get better grip on predicting stocks performance. Any webinars/sessions/reading material? I am new to this, just finished the basic 8 sessions, moving to the advanced training now. Just looking at the titles of all Technology sessions, they are all very specific to DAS, what if someone wants to use a different platform to trade? Is there something i am missing here, would appreciate some feedback, Thanks,
