Hi everyone, I've gotten a ton of requests for my hotkey file and associated StreamDeck icons and I haven't been able to stay on top of all the google drive requests. So I've attached them to this post! Included in the zip file: -Short and long icons for trading sizes for 100 to 10,000 shares -Sell 1/4, 1/2, and ALL size icons -Cancel icons -A couple of custom icons -The Adobe Illustrator template file to make your own -And finally my hotkey file with a specific, logical hotkey defined for each share size in the set. Hope you enjoy! JH-STREAMDECK-ICONS.zip

Use this thread to identify bugs Fixes and Enhancements in DAS. Discuss issues then we submit what we need to DAS. Use and listen to community resources, many software developers and UI designers etc are in this group. Ptovide screen shots using Snip & Sketch and/ or Step Recorder, both tools included in windows 10.

There are: Trading platforms (DAS Trader, LightSpeed, thinkorswim, IB TWS) Charting tools (TradingView, MultiCharts) Simulators (TradingSim, DAS Trader w/ Replay, thinkorswim OnDemand) Backtesters (TradeStation, NinjaTrader, MultiCharts) Automated Strategy Traders (TradeStation, NinjaTrader) And: AmiBroker, MetaStock, SierraChart, and countless others... I listed five categories above but keep in mind some software packages fall into multiple categories. For example, TradingView isn't only charting, you can also trade from it, too, if you connect it to a supported broker. And TradeStation covers all categories except replay/Simulation. DAS Trader is most popular at BBT. I also use it. I've also used thinkorswim but it does not have direct market access (DMA) and it is also noticeably slower (at least 2 or 3 seconds) behind DAS when I run them side by side. A lot of traders at BBT have had a lot of success using DAS Trader with InteractiveBrokers or CMEG, so I would say start there unless you have a specific reason to do use something else. (which you may find down the road, but DAS Trader is not a bad place to start)

Thank you so much for this. Good to know you felt the same when you started out and now you are more advanced. All the points you wrote here really help me. I had no idea what other traders' monitor set ups are like so it is really helpful. And Matrix analogy is great since I am a great fan of the movie 🙂 Thank you again!

Teruki, U remind me of me. A few points. 1. Do not worry, with time it will happen. 2. Watch one stocks TFs with montage. When u get bored and realize u have time ADD another set of charts TFs and montage, as u get bored watching two sets add another. U will find over time u will develop. Its like the movie the MATRIX, it will feel like "time" slows down and u see the MATRIX, and can act b4. Sounds funny but its true. 3. Usually traders have, for example 3 screens. Screen #1 has 6 - 8 5M TF charts. The other 2 screens each has a stock s TFs with montage on each. So two active trading setups and 6-8, 5M TFs monitoring so u can see the PA on the 5M. This is just an example u could do the same with ur 2 screens. Consider using Windows 10 virtual screens also. See how u can configure for ur style/personality. 4. Use/set alerts on chart - Depending on the trading app u use, it can be easy to set ALERTS at specific levels. When the alert goes off u focus on the stock symbol. 5. Usually I watch 2 -3 for scalps at open the others I watch for swing trades around 9:50am. it all depends on how far they r from key levels at the open or when I am analyzing them. i set Alerts for swing/position trades at key horizontal levels. 6. Do not get frustrated, Keep asking questions over time it will all fit together.

@Ed_EI am in a process of transition from TOS to DAS. I started trading with TOS since I had an account with TD and TOS is their free platform offered to their customers. Now I have experienced LIVE day trading on both the platforms, I can compare and definitely prefer DAS for the type of intra-day trading we do for faster executions and not limited to scalps and also being able to easily customize not only the hot keys also the charts, look and feel etc... When I was using only TOS, I was never able to match with Andrew's DAS's level2 from the trade room and yes the comparison was between LIVE accounts. Yes there is monthly fee for DAS which is negligible compared with advantages and the profits that we see. Below is my DAS Live which I made it similar with look and feel since I am used to TOS screens, but now with better executions and customization. Again its an individual's preference, I like both the platforms but for different purposes..
