You´re welcome, yes, take your time to build trading skills and consistency in the simulator at the time you grow your account capital. Good luck!

Andrew mentioned in the chatroom today that eventually the PDT rule will change. I agree that eventually it will change, but how long will it take to change it? If we can be proactive, maybe the change will come sooner. I found this link to a change.org petition where someone is already trying to change this rule ( Change the PDT Rule - This petition was created by another James, not me). Nevertheless, I think that as a community, we should be proactive in getting this rule changed because there are many people out there with less than $25K that are missing out on possible income opportunity.

Thanks again, I ll look it up further. I will only enroll in das simulator some time soon though, a broker and a real platform will take some time later, and my initial capital will be growing steadily for some time before a make an account.

Yes that would be an option of offshore broker to avoid PDT. Just be mindful that if you choose DAS, monthly cost will be charged to your account so $500 will shrink too soon.

The bank will try to charge your card until there are enough funds, but you should ensure you have enough funds for this.

Hi Konstantinos. PDT rules apply to every broker based in the US, so if you are using an US-based broker, does not matter where are you based, you are subject to PDT. If you are using IB Canada, PDT rule does not apply, because IB Canada is a canadian company and PDT is a regulation of an US authority (FINRA) for US brokerage companies. IB US account minimum are here.

Hi guys, my name is Rick, I'm an Australian but have been living in the UK for 3 years working as a paramedic. Currently in Squamish B.C. with my girlfriend's family for a month off before moving back to Western Australia. Been following along on youtube for a few months now and super keen to dive into the material and start practicing with all this lovely time off I have! I'm not able to work in Canada with my job so I'm super excited to have discovered day trading via Andrew's book and am dedicated to working hard on trading to eventually be able to live in Canada. I look forward to being able to follow along in the chatroom now! Cheers.

Hi there, My name is Rowan van Kleef from Holland and I'm new at the bear bull trading community, I want to thank you guys all ready for the great platform you've created! At this moment I'm watching all the videos in the education center, so that I can start trading in the simulator from next week. In the video 'How to place both stop loss and profit target in DAS Andrew mentions that in the case you go long the lo range is a market order and the hi range is a limit order. How does this work when you go short? Is it right in that case that the lo rang is a limit order and the hi range a market order? Kind regards, Rowan
