Basic Options Trading Hotkeys

Hi all,

I am looking for a very basic hotkey script that I can use whereby DAS will automatically calculate the number of contracts to purchase based on a defined $ amount.

For example, I wish to buy $1000 worth of an option with a current ask price of $1 (contract price $100) - on punching my hotkey DAS should go ahead and purchase 10 contracts ($1000 / ask*100).

Is there a simple hotkey script to achieve this? Also, which window needs to be active when punching the hotkey - the options chain or the montage?

I don't know if it affects the script at all, but for reference my broker is IBKR.

for options you will need to adapt it for special rounding for the lots which is solved in the round() function
