What is beeping noise Das Trader

Howdy,

Every so often when I am not actively trading Das Trader produces a beep sound randomly, at least to me.  Anyone know what this from?  Thanks!

A lot of times this beep noise is from alert notifications.

The notification may be hidden behind a top layer window when it appears, so you don't actually see it when it appears.

Thus it just seems like a random beeping noise.

Why would the window be coming up at all? 

Most likely you are hitting Max Loss with the risk controls or you have set up a price alert.

 

Follow these windows and click on the final "Preview" button, odds are that is the noise you are hearing.

I have my risk control page completely blocked off as you already know, but there is an option to disable hearing the noise if you stop out.

Hi Lightngo90, I've been trying to get my das to play an alert when 9 and 20 cross each other like what you posted, but it was silent even if I checked the box in your screenshot. Is there something else I need to do to enable sound play in chart? Thank you very much!

Hi kabakhu, check Tools- Alert& Trigger and preview the sound to check it. You might check volume mixer too
