Keeping SIM account after going live?

Recommended Posts

miked

Hey all, I've been wondering how to keep a SIM account active after going live.

Does DAS provide a free SIM account when you pay for the live broker version or do you need to pay for a separate SIM account on top of the live version if you want to keep it? It seems like if we have to pay for both then we will be paying for data twice which isn't great 🙂

Thanks!

Hey @miked check this offer at CMEG out, which was kindly brought to my attention by another BBT member:

https://bearbulltraders.com/brokers/#CMEG

If you scroll to the bottom, in the CMEG section, you'll see that they allow you to pay for a live account and have a SIM account for free. Not sure if that helps you at all (if you plan on using a different broker), but you may benefit from the offers that Andrew has kindly negotiated for us.

Kind regards,

Krooto

SIM is included with all DAS subscriptions to a live account. To set the default in your montage do this... (click apply to all exchanges you want that)

I personally keep mine on SIm by default and only switch to live if I see a really good setup. It's good to be consistent about what account you're on, because it's always when you accidentally trade in sim that you get the really good trades! haha I've been there...many of us have been there!
