CAn we clarify if need to be Vaxxed or not?

FYSA for US border crossers. Check for yourself to be sure but it appears you'll be quarantined if not vaxed.   Note that even if you are VAXED you need a molecular test (PCR, NAT, etc). Rapid antigen tests are NOT accepted to cross the border.

  2. I had this exact same question which is why I came onto the forum. Was about to post the same thing. I also have the IB package signed up via BBT

This is disappointing for sure, but the fact that they sent this out on a Friday evening to be in effect on Monday morning is very odd. Why do they not give customers any warning to resolve this issue? Seems that if the purpose to get us to pay more, at least give Users a chance to respond over a few business days??

Do any of the moderators or folks who have better connections with DAS management have any insight? Thanks @Andrew Aziz @Carlos M.@abielguerra

  3. Hi all, I just went through and tried to test the hotkeys from Advanced Lesson 6: DAS Dynamic Hotkeys – Equalized Risk Per Trade.

Here's the hotkey below from the lesson and is working for share calculation, but the STOP that it's putting in isn't executing. The order just sits there and fails to trigger. Any thoughts/ideas?Does the Route (in image) look right? Don't know what "SMAT" means. Should it say "STOP" instead of "SMAT"? I'm not too familiar with DAS order terminology.

    StopPrice=Price-0;DefShare=BP*0.925;Price=Ask-Price+0.00;SShare=100/Price;Share=DefShare-SShare;DefShare=DefShare+SShare;SShare=Share;Sshare=DefShare-SShare;Share=0.5*SShare;TogSShare;ROUTE=SMRTL;Price= Ask+0.10;TIF=DAY+;BUY=Send;DefShare=200;TriggerOrder=RT:STOP STOPTYPE:MARKET PX:StopPrice-0.10 ACT:SELL STOPPRICE:StopPrice QTY:Pos TIF:DAY+;

    Image below

    Long Entry @ 322.42

STOP ORDER @ 322.35 was automatically added as expected but never triggered/executed when price hit -- see attached image. I'm on IB DAS V5.4.3.0

    Thanks!

Kairos, would you do that arrangement for us?

Ok, we're locked in on the VENUE CHANGE.

NEW LOCATION, SAME TIME AS BEFORE, Saturday Jan 18, 2020 5PM to 8PM+for dinner and drinks.

    Derby Restaurant: 2233 6th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134

(It's located in "The Shop" https://theshopclubs.com/). Plenty of free parking onsite/area.

We'll be set up in the lounge area (it's not a big restaurant so it'll be obvious).

See everyone then! Ed, can you cancel the other reservation and update your original post so everyone has the latest info.

  5. For anyone else finding this thread: Marketable Limit Orders are Market Orders with some price protection (above/below bid/ask). The are not Limit orders with a set price. In DAS Sim/Replay, set them to market if you are getting errors regarding routing (specifically IB routing as I just did).

Guys my experience is that it is best to have a private area and no body is sitting, but everyone standing so we can all socialize. Is the venue like it? Can we all stand in a semi-private area to socialize instead of one big table?

I'm not too familiar with current Bellevue venues, but have some suggestions if going to Seattle is of interest. For example, this (https://tinyurl.com/umwku44 ) is in the southern part of the city, so parking is free/easy and the food/drink/beer selection is good. It's a Car club w/ restaurant/garage/storage. There's a lounge area that we could essentially take over. Can call and see if it's still available and if they have some standing tables. There's also some cool cars in storage -- including several lambos from the chat session earlier today. Downside is the surrounding area is pretty dead so we'd have to drive elsewhere if plan was to hop around after dinner. In Lincoln square (current venue), there are lots of other options within walking distance.

  7. Hey all, Dan here on the west coast. Been swing&value trading for 20+ years and never had the bandwidth for daytrading. Don't understand the current market valuations and macro conditions have been skittish to me the past several months. Makes me skeptical of holding long positions for extended periods. Have been dropping equities and needed another way to put cash to work so here I am learning the daytrading ropes. Am an engineer by training and I run a software and data analytics company (not in finance sector). Appreciate the wealth of information and resources on here and looking forward to crossing paths with the rest of you in the days ahead. Cheers!
