  1. ahí estaré !!!!! qué buena idea amigos !! 🙂
  2. @True @Justin i got late "to the party" so I couldn't help at all... here is thing, OBS is not designed on its core to record several screens at a time on different files, but more to switch between different screens or content "on the fly" for no-later-edition porpouse. I found out that it DOES allow to open multiple instances, so you can set up 2-3 OBS windows to record 2-3 screens at the same time on different files. That will requiere further edition later, however it is doable. You will need for sure 2 or 3 different HDDs on your PC to record that or a fast SSD... second options is the bare minimum, as there will be no moving parts, the files can be writed at the same time with almost no botleneck. However, the most demanding component in the system will be your GPU for sure as it needs to encode 2-3 screens in real time: doable but costy. I've got a proper GPU for video editing (XFX Radeon RX580 Black Ed 8GB) and it is not that expensive. It will cost you between 180 and 240 dollars aprox. I've tested 2 screens recording /encoding in real time and the GPU can manage that. It will manage 3 for sure too. I've got 4 HDD on my machine so I can record every screen on a different physical device, that helps too. Setting up : open OBS as many times as screeens you need to record to go settings OBS settings and select output file on diff devices or an SSD go to OBS video and select Hardware Encoding (both NVDA and AMD have that on discrete GPUs) Note : I 'd bother to try it on a laptop unless it is a gaming laptop with a modern discrete GPU and an external USB 3.1 SSD drive
  3. @Alastair you don't need to build up anything special if you just installed the DarkReader plugin for your browser and activate it in the forum. It will all go easy in the eyes just fine.
  4. man ! that is too easy to be a problem ... add this 3 lines to the end of the CSS style and use the width attribute to properly adjust the chat to your screen aspect ratio 🙂 Enjoy ! /* move chat to the right */ #chatAlertsDiv { position:absolute; right:0px; top:0px; width:18%; } #presentationHolderDiv.l-cell { position:absolute; left:0px; width:82%; }
  5. I thought that I was the only one customization maniac around hahahaha I use Stylus a lot to custom my favourites websites when I want them to work better. Check this custom dark theme I wrote for FinViz : https://userstyles.org/styles/164469/finviz-general-dark-theme
  6. 7. Hi everybody, I've been thinking about giving the room my own personal touch as I often found my self during the last few months having difficulties with the small chat and all the messages... Short Story I aimed for this goals : Giving some more space for the main chat Reduce the tab selection section in the middle of the column so that it does not overflow in several lines Give some clean icons that clearly identify the content while keeping the tooltip Hide the Alert Panel while keeping it accesible using the mouse over it (autohide) Change the font for a readable one with a smaller size as I use to have the chat in a 40" TV The final result is this ( original colors on the right, darker theme on the left) : If interested in getting more room for the main chat, just install Stylus and Darkreader (if you like the dark theme ) plugins on your browser : Chrome: Stylus: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/stylus/clngdbkpkpeebahjckkjfobafhncgmne Dark-reader: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/dark-reader/eimadpbcbfnmbkopoojfekhnkhdbieeh?hl=es Firefox: Stylus: https://addons.mozilla.org/es/firefox/addon/styl-us/?src=search Dark-reader: https://addons.mozilla.org/es/firefox/addon/darkreader/ After the easy installation, just go to the top right cornor of your browser and click on the "S" then on the "create new style option" while being in the tab of the chatroom. Copy the CSS text that you can find attached to this post and then paste it in the editor area. Check the name you want to give to this style on the upper left corner and the URL that should be monitored : https://protradingroom.com Save the changes and go back to the room. If you want to activate the dark theme just go to the DarkReader plugin and manage your settings ... Hope anyone finds this usefull. Keep it green ! @Paul aka Aurbano 2024-12-06 UPDATE : update tab icons. 8. the best approach to achieve that is tu use a given amount (not the numbers of shares) to open a position and use a % for the stoploss .... that is the only way that I managed to achieve that .... ex : set preset > amount to 5.000USD positions (TWS will calc how many shares it will buy or sell) and then set a 1% stoploss for 50USD risk this have a huge bug ! if the amount you use cannot be bought or sold short for 100 sh or more .... TWS will do 100 share lot !! for example setting up 1.000usd with a bigger stock (said TSLA) you wont get a nice result .... instead of around 30 shares, you will end up getting 100 shares (around 3000 usd) .... contacted TWS support and they have NO solition nor idea how to resolve that bug check this link for more information about my TWS setup (dark and white themes) + hotkeys : https://forums.bearbulltraders.com/topic/1144-interactive-broker-tws-setups-and-hotkeys/
  9. Hi guys ! shared my setup, layout and hotkeys configuration here ! bock in dark theme and andrew's theme red over white !
  10. Hi David, I custom built my workstation on August 2018, focusing on performance and bottlenecks. Take into consideration that I do trading, code Apps in several langs (Java, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript), do a lot a photo and video editing and last but not least : I needed it to be 100% Mac OS X compatible to boot natively Mac OS X High Sierra, Win 10 and Ubuntu Linux 18 ... Here is my shopping list : 3x Dell UltraSharp U2415 screens 2x WD Blue 2TB (5400 rpm, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64 MB caché) 1x WD Black M2 PCIe Hard Drive 512GB (PCI Express 3.0, M.2, FCC, UL, TUV, KC, BSMI, VCCI) MotherBoard : Gigabyte Z370 HD3P LGA 1151 (Socket H4) ATX (DDR4-SDRAM, DIMM, 2133,4000 MHz, Dual, 64 GB, Intel) CPU : 8th Gen Intel® 12 Core i7-8700 3.2GHz 12MB Smart Cache (up to 4.60 GHz) Socket LGA 1151 CPU Water Cooling : Corsair Hydro Series H55 Extreme Performance GPU : XFX AMD Radeon RX RX-580P8DFWR 8GB Black Edition (3x DisplayPort + 1x HDMI) Memmory : 1x GSkill F4 - 3000 C15S - 16gvr Ripjaws V DDR4-RAM - 16 GB (upgradable to 64GB) WiFi : TP-Link Archer T9E (AC1900 Mbps, Banda Dual, PCI Express, 1300 Mbps @ 5GHz, 600 Mbps @ 2.4 GHz) Corsair CP-9020098-EU Series VS650 watts Power Unit Corsair Carbide Series 100R PC Box You can use standard 24-27" monitors with no color gamut color calibration and they will be much cheaper. Total Budget around $2,000 (Computer $1250 - 3 monitores $750) ... Total Screens available 5 .... Motherboard have another HDMI output that totally works on Ubuntu and Windows10 Boot : Clover + GRUB + Windows Boot Manager on the M2 PCIe 512GB disk .... another M2 disk can be added for RAID and ultra perfance, but no needs for trading PS : I was using a 9 years old iMac 27" 2.4Ghz with 1x HDD + 1x SSD and the improvement has been huge .... GPU is amazing and now it is cheaper bc RX590 just got out a couple of months ago.
