  1. I just set up a Lenovo ThinkPad 15.6" E590. It is not too big, has good specs and fits in a number pad on the keyboard. I run resolution of 1920x1080 (100% view) and have templates for all my programs. This resolution also seamlessly connects to HDMI screens with same resolution using the HDMI output for monitor extension. I'm pretty happy with it.
  2. @Justin , hmm, hope they do add that feature. Would make it possible to truly set and forget. Only other thing I am trying to find is a way to show current average price of my position on the chart. I don't suppose DAS has a Y axis value or horizontal line study that would display and move with the average price of current position?
  3. I just got some new trend trading hotkeys set up! These are designed to load price targets and stop loss orders for intraday trends (1-6 hours). I love the new replay mode in DAS for testing hotkeys! Bummer the stop loss orders can't be used, but they load into the mantage so you can see the values. I will test more in DEMO mode during live sessions. So here is my question: Say I am holding 100 shares of a stock and I set profit targets to sell 50 shares, 25 shares and 25 shares respectively as the trend continues higher. I also set a stop loss to sell out full position of 100 shares. If my first target hits and I sell 50 shares, leaving a position of 50 shares, then the stock tanks and hits my stop order; what happens? Is there a way to have a stop order that simply closes the position no matter how many shares I have? Thanks in advance! NolanATX
  4. There is a Barnes N Noble at the intersection of highways 45 and 35 in Round Rock. They have a nice cafe area and are open until 9pm. I would be game to start a local meet up group (maybe once a month to try it out) on either a Tuesday or Friday evening from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The purpose would be to share notes on trades from the preceding month. To share journals of trade ideas and overall exchange ideas with each other. Coffee is on me! Unless your ideas suck, then it is on you. J/K !! I have a TOS laptop platform that allows for replay of price movements from previous dates. That can come in handy if anyone wants to review trades from your journal. Anyone game for it message me back. At the Austin meet up this year, a few of you expressed interest in something like this. Cheers, Nolan
  5. So the Austin location is official at North Italia in the Domain? This Monday at 6pm I see.
