Hey everybody, Today is quite an important day for me. I've finally managed to get back to break even after being in the red for 4 and a half years since I started day trading. I'll be honest, I was starting to doubt my ability to ever become a profitable trader at the end of 2020, and I thought about quitting. Investing so much time and effort for years, only to see money disappearing from your account is very hard on morale, of course. One thing that kept me going was the fact that, even though my account wasn't getting better, I felt like I was always making a little progress on both the technical side and the psychological side. I figured if I kept going, one day, I would finally turn the corner. Well, I turned that corner at the end of 2020, when I changed my approach, strategy and tools all at the same time. It took me 4 years to lose 25000$, and only 6 months to make it back. And frankly, I'm pretty excited to see what the next couple of years will look like as I'm only starting to ramp up my size. I wanted to share this with you guys because this chatroom is one of the reasons why I was able to make it work for me, and I figured it could help motivate and inspire anyone that is still struggling to find their marks and make it work for themselves. As you can see from my total realized P&L of the last 4.5 years, I had a pretty long and difficult journey. I just wanted to say this: As long as you feel that you're progressing at least a little, and if you like what you are doing, make sure that you give yourself the time and the tools to keep going because you never know when you'll be turning that corner. I surely didn't expect it, not more than a year ago I was about to call it quit, and it would have been a monumental mistake. Let this be an inspiration for those still struggling.

The key to setting this thing up appears to be getting the numbers to match.. s3 scan equals the S3 Das uses. My custom formulas are full and had to delete various test scripts to make space. Pre and Post scripting of those pivots I don't have included. The symbols for close in premarket get included into todays close data instead of yesterday for calculations. Excluding pre post check box in das helps to get calculations to match. When testing for these levels to match up to live data TI would miscalculate at times and send me scratching my head. I think this was due to the high level of scanners I had running doing calculations and my cache not updating across the board. Was also inspired to do similar scans for premarket high and low breaks, atr expansions,,, always short on time or money. But but but .. I have a model I am testing as a awareness level finder verses a trade trigger. This will hopefully allow me to view levels with enough time to execute trades. Don't want to chase only confirm

IB look set to move their London office, eliminating the PDT rule for UK and EU clients. See link for full details but from FAQ, Q: Will I be subject to the U.S. Pattern Day Trading Rule once my account is migrated? A: Accounts maintained with IBUK are subject to the U.S. Pattern Day Trading (PDT) rule as the accounts are introduced to and carried by IBL, a U.S. broker. The PDT rule restricts accounts with equity below USD 25,000 to no more than 3 Day Trades within any 5-business day period. As accounts migrated to IBLUX, IBIE or IBCE will not be introduced to IBL, they will not be subject to the PDT rule. But FAQ also say.. Q: What happens if IBKR does not receive the regulatory approval necessary to migrate accounts by December 31, 2020? A: IBLUX, while approved, it is subject to constraints on the permitted scale of its business and licensing for either IBIE or IBCE is therefore necessary to complete the migration prior to December 31, 2020. If a determination is made that neither will receive licensing in time, clients will be contacted with an explanation as to how their account will be treated at the end of the Brexit transition period. See here for full details. https://ibkr.info/en/article/3515?
