Quickly put together a helper page last Wednesday (?) to calculate the extended Pivot Points. Takes in a symbol, gives you the values for S5, S6, R5, and R6. Note: This is for those that use the DAS Study -> Pivot Points w/ Camarilla and Post/Premarket data included. > Special Note: Daily charts in DAS exclude the Pre/Post market data, so the data will not align (thanks to RP for pointing this out), please use an intraday chart when comparing values. Create a hotkey in DAS with the following script: https://kaelmedia.com/projects/tradepivots/?symbol=%SYMB% To use, just select a montage and hit the hotkey you just created. It'll launch a browser window which tells you the levels for S5, S6 and R5, R6. You'll need to mark these manually on the chart. The API I use for the data may not have all stocks, so just be aware if you don't get a value to first check that it got the proper symbol. It should say the symbol on the page, if not, try it again. BONUS Tip!: For those that experienced the PivotPoint wackiness over the holiday, you can fix this by right-clicking the chart -> Data Config -> Set to 5 Days minute chart (get 5 days worth of minute data is what this means). It'll then have the data necessary to calculate correctly. The default value does not have enough data to span the holiday. Also, may I suggest that Peter's next Thor theme song be a cover of "Amarillo by Morning" as "Camarilla by Morning".

Greetings and thanks for reading! I'll start with my question and then give you background for the question so you can avoid me babbling on. The question is simple, First off, not a knock on CMEG, we all have to make money and I'm very thankful they are available. The Story: My son (29) and I (57) took the day trading plunge together back in the beginning of March. My son's financial situation is much better than mine so he has no PDT limitation, I on the other hand do. In the last eight weeks, things have been going fairly well, learning and gradually getting better, we have both been using TOS. This weekend I will be getting the DAS Simulator. My plan is to use the SIM the majority of the time for the next three months and use TOS 3 times a week to fulfill my adrenaline rush needs. During this time I will continue to add money to my account. By the end of the three months I will have in the neighborhood of 3,000 to open an account at CMEG. My son's argument, (he basis this on my success trade rate which is around 60% (at the moment)) Take it slow, save the money on commissions and slowly build up your account overtime, so says the kid with no PDT rules. My arguments are: Having only 3 trades available a week adds way more stress to my trading, I want them all to be successful. Commissions are a part of the learning curve/price. The more actual trades I have under my belt, minus the commission, the more money I will potentially gain and ability to build my account, plus experience. Thanks for you time and I appreciate any and all responses! Andrew

My best trade of the session was a break event trade, and this in a session where I did make some other trades that made up to +1.5R profit (although the whole session finished -1R). However, I actually think this is a really good trade and even though I got out BE I'm pleased with it for several reasons. It was a 1 minute ABCD short on AMC. The stock sold off after bouncing off VWAP, came back, touched the 9EMA and began to sell off again. My entry signal was a new 1 minute low, stop back above the top of the range. I moved into profit, but then saw a double bottom forming on all of my charts (1, 2 5min) and the stock coming off what seemed to be a support level. I asked myself 'if I wasn't already in this trade would I take it now?'. The answer was a clear 'no', so I came off BE. So what do I like so much about this trade? The following points all sit well: This was my first trade of the session and it came some 25 minutes into the session. I'd been very patient waiting for an entry. The set up was correct, an ABCD short with a pull back to the 9EMA, holding below the 9EMA. My entry was correct, entering at a new 1 minute low. My stop was well placed, above the top of the pull back range. My R:R was good. If AMC was able to break the bottom of this range then there were no support levels below it, nothing but clear space to fall into and setting me up for a nice profit. I managed the trade well, thinking clearly and when seeing good reasons to come off it (the double bottom and confirmation of a support level) I came off the trade. After I exited AMC proceeded to return above VWAP. I'd have been stopped out for an R if I didn't come off the position when I did. Therefore, very pleased with this one even if it's a BE. Saving a -1R is as good as gaining an R.

If you haven't already, it seems you need to request ETF trading permissions And if that's not working they have articles on why it still may be rejected: https://www.interactivebrokers.eu/lib/cstools/faq/#/content/faq%3A%2F%2FpageId%3D35791095?articleId=41555180

I don't know much about your situation, but a quick Google finds someone else asking the same question with a few possible answers: https://money.stackexchange.com/questions/112871/buying-an-us-etf-from-europe-using-interactive-brokers
