DAS From Live to Simulation

Hello,

 

I am fairly new here and opened an account with Speedtrader and DAS.

(Before I tried with my eTrade account but that did not work at all)

 

Can somebody please tell me if there is a possibility to switch from DAS Live to the simulation.

(Lost couple hundred Live and want to switch to Simulation for a while)

Hi,

 

I understand that I need to go to Setup and Order Templates but what do I do after?

Do I change something in: Exchange, Route, AON/ANY, or in Account?

(For Account I can only select my live account or blank)

Once in the “Global Default Order Configuration” window, (Setup > Order Templates) do you see your live account number on the dropdown menu?

Yes under "Account" I see my life account, but no option to switch to a simulator account :(

(But I just checked and in the montage, I can also only select my live account)

 

Is the problem maybe that I signed up with Speedtrader right away and that I do not have the option to switch between live and the simulation account?

Yes. I suggest to contact Speedtrader and ask for sim account too...

Hi. Ok I contacted Speedtrader and they activated the Simulation account.
