I need a bit of advice here, has anyone else had problems funding your new account ?

I am Canadian , I opened a US dollar account, the bank says I have to go there and send a wire transfer, IB won't let me verify my account, how do you my fellow Canadians fund yours?

This is odd, I funded my US IB account using my Mexico bank accout, it was a smooth and fast process. Let see what IB Canada clients say.

No problem for me to transfer money from my major Canadian bank to IB. Takes a few days but gets there. I transferred cdn funds and changed to USD in ibkr because it's cheap as dirt.
