Does any one have recommendations for monitors? I am new to trading and need to set up hardware. I realize this is probably a personal preference but looking for size, number of monitors, resolution, refresh rate etc. Asking because I am new to this and relying on everyone's prior experience. I don't necessarily need to re-invent what works best for everyone. Thanks for your input .

I think what you said about personal preference is really true. It's not so much about the specs of monitor, but what you can fit on your desk and what can you afford 😛

If you're not a gamer I wouldn't worry about refresh rate and resolution. Especially refresh rate.

Hard to find a monitor below 23" anymore, so bigger than that is nice. Having two monitors is great, if you want to monitor more stocks at once, getting 3-4 is ideal. Following chat often takes up one or half a monitor so keep that in mind.

Buying a monitor or multiple monitors is definitely a personal preference.  I have 4 24" LG IPS monitors that I use for playing games and for trading with and I don't have any issues with them.  IPS panels allow you to be able to stand up and still see the same colors as you would if sitting right in front of it.  I bought mine off of Newegg.com for roughly $100 each.
