@Andrew Aziz @Carlos M. BBT needs a Discord channel!! It fosters lively chat and discussion far beyond what you can get in Forums. Each Discord 'server' (i.e. account / community) is broken into Channels. Each channel is a different topic. For example, I've attached how another trading community organizes their Discord server. Each one of their channels gets 100s of messages per day. Channels are basically just chat rooms. Except all messages are stored just like in Forums so you can search for information later. You can share photos, videos, links, whatever the admin sets up for permissions. You can define different user roles and permissions. Discord is amazing for building communities.

It's all 100% free with desktop, web, and mobile apps for all OS and devices.

I've setup a couple Discord communities for Twitch gamers. Happy to help setup one for BBT (for free of course)

Personally I prefer the chatroom/forum separation. The way I operate is I go to the room to trade, check scanners, call out setups, announce trades, maybe ask a couple questions. For anything else I'll dm the member or post a topic in the forum. I don't really see the need for Discord.

I agree with Brendon. Also Andrew explained this morning why we don't have an official Discord or Slack channel.

That being said, there are already a few unofficial BBT Discord channels floating around if you search the forum (This is probably the larger one: https://discord.gg/URaBUN)

The chat room integrated into the live streaming has its purpose, but the Discord serves much more than that. News discussions, trends, tech, platforms, regulations, off topic, etc. Everything you want to discuss in real time 24/7 with like-minded individuals.  Forums and the morning chat room aren’t good for this.
