I am having a problem using the fixed risk hot keys (long and short) in DAS with CMEG as my broker. Below is my script that I copied and pasted from the pdf in the BBT download section. I am only using $15 risk, but when I enter my hot key, the montage fills in trying to buy thousands of shares and I get the "invalid share" error message. The below screen shot is what the montage fills in with when I tried to use a $5 stop on AMD. I tried it with a lower priced stock with a dollar stop and it tried to buy over 6K shares with my $15 risk. Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks. As someone mentioned, it depends where you'll be staying since Phoenix is so spread out. A few brewery suggestions... OHSO - In Arcadia closer to Scottsdale State 48 - Downtown Phoenix Huss Brewing Co - More central Phx near Camelback and Central. -

Abiel, Thank you for your response and those links. I will likely use CMEG once I get out of sim so the thread you posted will be helpful.

Hello everyone. I am working in Sim right now and was wondering what I should anticipate for fees and commissions while trading. If my daily goal is $50, but I take 5 trades with partials to get there, wouldn’t I likely end up negative on the day after fees? I know each broker is different, but is there a dollar amount I should be thinking about in the back of my mind as I execute each trade in sim? Any guidance on this would be appreciated.

Justin, Thank you for your response and I will go with the 8GB to start. I appreciate it.

I am just getting started with trading and will just be using the DAS sim for a while. I am looking to purchase a laptop on a tight budget, while meeting all the spec requirements on DAS's website. They require 4GB of RAM and was wondering if a laptop with 4GB would work fine, or is there an advantage to adding a little more and going with something like 8GB of RAM? I understand I am going cheap on this purchase getting started, but I want to make sure I'm not compromising performance just to safe a few dollars. Thank you in advance.
