23/12/19 trading on my laptop as im away so only watched itci was a little tricky to trade but managed to make good money on it. it popped at the open and then pulled back a bit and held then popped again, it went straight to 4-5R but i only took a quarter of my shares off then came to my b/e. i took it short as it looked like it was about to break down but didnt get a partial then out at b/e. As it started selling off the asks were getting bigger and bigger so i took a few stabs as it seemed to be rejecting my levels and so with a tight stop on each one when it eventually popped i took a huge profit on the way up.

Well the past week has been a fun and interesting one. Thursday I end up not taking a trade in the morning, but was looking forward to trading in the afternoon. Then came the train ride home on Thursday as I was flying to Phoenix on Friday to visit a Marine. Train late of course so I didn’t get home till around midnight, so Friday turned into a no trade day from the beginning. I got home yesterday from Phoenix and had to do some construction work on my new monitor stand as it was tilting over. I figured it was a good time to re-run all the wire to make everything look a little neater. Which brings me today. I started this morning and everything was working good except my keyboard and mouse that I had connected to a switch. The keyboard kept cutting out making it nearly impossible to type or use the mouse. I spent most of the morning trouble shooting it and found that it is probably the switch. We will see tomorrow. $AMD had a great 15 min Orb this morning, I wish I was able to take it. The afternoon was better spent with the family than staring at the excessive amount of chop. Pop there the stock goes, oh wait pullback, see there the pop again, nope pullback again, and repeat for 3 hours. Lol.

Love squawk. I always keep it on, listening for news that will cause some volatility. Obviously you can't trade off of all news, but it seems there is always a popup opportunity to at least get a scalp on a quick move. Here are the last couple of trades I caught using squawk. Really appreciate this as a feature of BBT!

12-23-19 AIS 0800, 4 hours, 6/10 PAT: Spread.... FOMO/Overtrading..... Notes: Be careful of my Bias.... Tighten up on trade quality.... JD PB#2.... three tries all failed... got caught in the chop... first one was a terrible entry and trade... second and third was the reclaim of VWAP but both failed.. looking back this is in a chop.... -2.6R ITCI PB#2 & PB#3 First was false breakout on the 2min and only barely closing below VWAP on the 5min.... I took profit with scared money and set a hard stop at BE (I was also in a JD trade here but with how volatile this was I should have let JD have the hard stop and keep this on my main) this should have been my only entry.... ITCI was so volatile I traded it scared and left a ton of money on the table.... even though I made money on the day I am not happy with my trade management ..... there was no reason to sell or take profits on ITCI until 1020 on the pullback on the 2min and this should have been my first partial..... I am supper bummed that I managed this trade so poorly... even though I do not look at my P&L I knew about where I was at and was just locking up last weeks lost..... +5.3R CONS: stayed Biased on JD.... Bad management on ITCI PROS: Did stick with my main watch stocks and it paid off.... Playbook Trade: ITCI Notes: Managed my ITCI trade very badly.... Even though I am in the Green today I do not feel like I did well and do not feel as good as a day that I traded well and lost 1R, guess that is progress..... Rs: +2.6

Monday 12/23/2019 I had a well-being score of 5/10 this morning. Actually, it seems like I caught the flu, but mentally OK. I took 1 live trade this morning with JD. My watchlist: JD, MU, TSLA, BA, ITCI and SRPT. I am getting a bit bored trading BABA every morning so it was not on my watchlist. Someone called out JD in PM and I liked it so made my list. It open strong then about 30 sec after the open it had both a big print (13k) at the ask and two L2 signals see image: I went long, but instinctively gave it some give knowing my fill would be bad. Which it was and lost 10 cents on the fill. But since my stop was the bottom of the candle my share size was right on. I was feeling a little uncomfortable since I had no levels to choose a target, so I chose $37 I checked my recording and I did enter the trade before Brian called it. I am always worried I will start mirroring trades. I was definitely bad with the partial profit taking. I should have set a limit order which has been working for me recently. What did I do good today? Traded off the tape. What I am grateful from today? Trading something besides BABA. What I should improve on: Stick with the limit orders for partial profit taking, when ever possible.

Hi Mark, Not trying to sound like a jerk or anything, but I a disagree with your short on CTRP. Even though the trade works out in your favor, we shouldn't analyze the trade based on a single outcome. CTRP opened very strong, it broke pre-market high (a level at $34.5 if I'm not mistaken), VWAP, PCL and other MAs. On the 5, we can clearly see a bullish flag candle. There had not been any real pull back yet from your entry. CTRP was not very extended from VWAP. In addition, CTRP is on an uptrend on the daily making higher highs and higher lows. It seemed to be ready to go up to test the resistance at $35.68. Usually for stocks that open this strong, we would see a pull back to VWAP then push higher for an ABCD pattern. The said don't short strong stocks as it is very dangerous... Personally, I think that we should wait for CTRP to test VWAP and if it hold VWAP then we should go long for the break of high of the day.
