BBY: The price action was choppy at open.Watching 1 min chart after the stock rebound in the MA and hold above VWAP a got in long, sold half to soon and sold the other half close to HOD. The second trade i got in long over the MA's for a bull flag but didn't like the price action an get out.

AMD: It was holding over the MA's i tried to anticipate the move over the VWAP but didn't work twice.Usually if the stock try to go over VWAP so many times and fails is a short.

AAPL: I went long when it crossed VWAP with target at high of yesterday. The second trade is the same strategy but i took only 100 shares because i was over my daily goal.

Although i make money today, i should stick only to my main VWAP strategy.

386187068_Trades27mar2019.JPG.fd87da4ea92a6006c73089d53642fd8b.JPG

WCG: after the stock crossed VWAP in 1 min chart, i got in short only 50 shares i get out in the big drop. The second trade wasn't my main strategy, i have a chance to get some profit but the pop was to fast at the end i lose money on this trade. Do not let you winner turn into a loser.

1076396889_Ex27mar2019WCG.thumb.JPG.f5217d43002b73b13b88d7e93831dcc1.JPG

CNC: Fisrt trade i chase it, because of that i get out quick. The second trade was a mistake, again that's not my main strategy. After that i short way to far from VWAP then i started to scale up with the stop at VWAP at the end made some money but was a bad trade because of the chase.

921220448_Ex27mar2019CNC.thumb.JPG.0001a408c90385d6b868edd93c30b2fe.JPG

CVS: This is my main strategy. I get in long close to VWAP and sold it in 3 steps.

32653863_Ex27mar2019CVS.thumb.JPG.fc8d94b59307020f9a08988043b1f3f1.JPG

LEN: The first trade i tried the VWAP strategy but this one was not a good setup because of the choppy price action at open. The other trades i went long because this stock was holding above VWAP.

LULU: This was the only stock really in play for me ( a little bit difficult to trade because of the spread, i reduce my share size) .  I made 4 trades. The first trade i tried to anticipate the move but it rebounds on VWAP and i get out. When the next 1 min candle closes above VWAP i got in again. The third trade i saw the double bottom in 1 min candle but i hesitate to get in, then i chase it a little bit and bought it in a small pull back, with only 100 shares i sold it in the first pop. The 4th trade I saw a double bottom in 5 min chart buy close to VWAP (100 shares), it makes a pull back but was holding the MA's i added 100 shares and sold it in 2 steps before it gets to my target as always (my target was 170.93)

AAPL: I scalp it with the same VWAP strategy for a quick $45 profit. I always tried to scalp this everyday in play stocks because most of the days they move up and down a lot.

AMD: As a rule i don't trade AMD unless it is gaping more than 3% either direction. I have broke that rule a couples of times later and i have paid the price. Twice i tried the VWAP strategy here and fail.

323486344_Ex29mar2019AMD.thumb.JPG.352eac4760684e39a5ea1b30bf4031eb.JPG

LULU: was in play the day before. Sometimes i like this type of situation because trade so more smooth the day after (if there is enough volume). I tried to anticipate the move down ( the engulfing pattern in 5 min indicates a short), but it gives me a hard time at the beginning because of that and because i was green on the day and later red that mess up a little my trade and i get out completely when i should have cover only one part.

CELG: watching 1 min candles at opening the stock holds VWAP. I get in and then get out still over VWAP. I realize my mistake and get in again only 100 shares (bad share size decision).

WEEKLY RECAP (march  26-29)

Trades: 26 (16 winners) (10 losers)

Winners total: $1,395.5

Average Winner: $87.22

Losers total: $-541

Average Loser: $-54.1

PnL Ratio: 1.61 1

Accuracy: 62%

Lessons: This week never traded before the 5 min. I am trying to get an entry after minute 7 or 8. No trades on stock that are not in play. No anticipate move, wait for the VWAP confirmation.

The main strategy is to buy (or short sell) close to VWAP from (9:35 to 10:05) using 5 min chart as reference for the trend and 1 min chart for entry.  For entries in first 15 min is a good idea to sell (or buy) at closes levels.  Apparently when you get you entry close to 10:00 is i good idea to keep some shares for the long run.

IQ: This trade was a mistake, i didn't wait for the stock to cross VWAP (1 min chart) en close above it. I get out as soon as i noticed my error.

907139418_Ex01abril2019IQ.thumb.JPG.9aa9f240e8a4ba56e2cd737f84d0ec41.JPG

ROKU: i saw the stock holding VWAP for 13 min and get in  long (only 200 shares because this stock move fast some times). I sold it in 3 steps. Maybe with more shares i would hold some, because was a very strong setup.

297787916_Ex01abril2019ROKU.thumb.JPG.61fa77563e702b01b5b0f216ca76ca36.JPG

JD: First trade, i saw it was holding VWAP. It pops but my share size was to small for this type of stock and i did't take profits. The second trade after the stock closed below VWAP i short it  but it was holding VWAP to long and i get out. After that was a great short but i like my execution (i was afraid of a short squeeze). The move a 10:29 was great with my strategy but i have to leave the trading station early today.

I trade a lot today. After 3 or 4 trades a think is better to make a pause and check if your trading your strategies. I started trading to far from VWAP and didn't wait for confirmation.

2126408078_Trades02abril2019.thumb.JPG.907d5c2d4dcfc488ba28fc32a2860ae8.JPG

CVS: I made 4 trades on this. First trade i got in long at VWAP but i should have waited for the pull back. Second trade long at VWAP again, this time it works. Third trade was a hotkey mistake (wrong montage). Fourth trade i got in long (heavy) close to VWAP after the pull back, i sold everything close to HOD.

724824274_Ex02abril2019CVS.thumb.JPG.fdff2a88092c2c5a7a549595b4c5b617.JPG

WBA: All bad trades on this one. Too far from VWAP most of them. The one close to VWAP i didn't get out when it crossed VWAP.

After testing my strategy in the simulator for 2 months, I am back to the real account.

259416191_Trades03abril2019.JPG.cf7e862e33b02d8cd77a76d401de8828.JPG

MU: This was like an ABCD pattern in 1 min chart. After the pull back i entry long, sold half at the first pop, then sold the other half at the next big pop, because i don't want to wait for the pull back.

225696225_Ex03abril2019MU.thumb.JPG.1c4a69d075c96e9075f5404a89148f7f.JPG

AMD: was more or less the same strategy of MU but the 2 min red candle got me out. I was afraid of a pull back to VWAP. My mistake was not to get in again in the next minute.

Bad execution and overtrading today but it is a good day to learn from mistakes.

1511675340_Trades04abril2019.thumb.JPG.4bf4990770b0b77aeeec288def9c1f5f.JPG

MU: First trade was a bad entry (to far form VWAP). Second trade, engulfing pattern, i got in long added over VWAP but it was a false breakout. Then engulfing pattern to the short side, i waited for pull back to VWAP and got in short but i cover to fast. Important lesson here is don't buy to far from VWAP. Let the false breakout to develop a little more.

176854232_Ex04abril2019MU.thumb.JPG.b0424af3e29c6ad05bf8afa5dec9f12c.JPG

FB: this one was my first trade and the one who mess my whole day trading (TSLA too). I get in too far from VWAP but my stop loss must be VWAP, i think is better to add if it is holding VWAP.

1289030527_Ex04abril2019FB.thumb.JPG.80ec762437d01540d8b4d2b51093b467.JPG

VFF: The same mistake buying to far from VWAP.

649516736_Ex04abril2019VFF.thumb.JPG.970c8168cf3783fd87322777713ae7f4.JPG

TSLA: the same mistakes i made on FB.

May 6, 2019 (Monday)

I am back with the journal.

1285636679_PnL06mayo2019.JPG.24be7784d5d2d4d92cefbe6267c219f7.JPG

Too many trades today because i started my day red.

JD: this one was rebounding at VWAP. I got in a little late and my plan was to sell close to HOD.

1709625963_Ex06mayo2019JD.thumb.JPG.357943d556893115b49d00d5a10edbac.JPG

AMD: This is a very important pattern. When the stock is so strong at open, usually there is a pull back and a consolidation period. Bad execution (FOMO). I got in to far from the MA's an got out with no technical reason (rookie mistake).  The best trade an maybe the only that i should have take it was a 9:54.
