Gabriel 0 Posted December 1, 2025 Hi everybody, I'm Gabriel from Romania, new to BBT and never been in any other trading community. I am an Electrical Engineer and I trade on US market since a couple of years ago (long and a bit of swing every now and then). I have recently read Andrew Aziz's "How to trade for a living" and I decided I want in. Realistically, I do not have the fundaments to do it properly. I have tried day trading a few times and I was succesfull, but it was definitely pure luck. At the moment, I have just purchased the one year Elite membership. As I am aware I still need access to: - a trading simulator (I am in a free trial of Trading Terminal pro) - a scanner (I know BBT recommends Trade Ideas) - a trading platform (my broker is IBKR and I read BBT recommends DAS Trade) Honestly, I do not know exactly what are the first steps. There is a lot of information on BBT Portal and this confuses me a bit. I entered the Chatroom but I don't understand much of it. I would highly appreciate any kind of help / guidance in ordere to properly start my journey. Thanks a lot, Gabriel
greg g 1 Posted December 3, 2025 Second time intorducing myself here, a few years agi I read Andrew and Brian Pezims books, joined the group but never really got started. Turns out I didn't get any younger in the last few years so now decing to get nmore serious out it as I would like to transition into trading for a living. Recently started swing trading, had some good results considering I started in the worst week of Nov 2025, managed to make a bit then lost most of my earnings with some reckless trades, I keep pretty rigid with my stop out, while they my prohibit some profits I figure its better to minimize risk while starting out. Currently using Questrade for a broker, though I do really like their charts, using Chartmill for my screener, I find it a bit cumbersome, hoever they do have a setup rating and list potential breakout candidates, I'm about 50/50 on their siuggestions so will monitor that against my owne wcreens to see how accurate they actually are. Any feedback on the platforms mentioned woudl be appreicated, I think like most things it is more important to know how to use the tool you are using very well rather than the best tool and not know it very well. Will eventually forage into day trading, I'm on the west coast so have about an hour from opeing bell to get some potential trades in. Any feedback or suggestions on the mentioned platforms is appreciated, particulatly peoples experience with Chartmill vs. Finviz. Vs. trade ideas. Located in BC, Canada. Daniel 0 Posted 13 hours ago Hi there, my name is Daniel Gems and my wife, daughter and I live in Berlin, Germany. I am a self-employed Personal Trainer turned Elementary School Teacher here in Northern Berlin. My schedule allows me to trade the open, since I get off school at around 2pm CET. I have been trading on and off for the past couple of years, but never took it seriously. Something shifted in my mind the last few weeks though, I have started to treat trading like my business and be as unemotional as I can when I am in front of my screen. I am trading the Opening Range Breakout for now and will add another strategy once I have the previous one down to the core. I hope all of you have an amazing trading year and I am looking forward to 2026 with BBT by my side.
Latoya Robinson 0 Posted 1 hour ago Hi everyone! I’m happy to be here and part of this amazing community. My name is Latoya, I’m based in North Carolina, and I’m a wife and mom of two incredible kids. I recently joined Peak Capital Trading and the BBT Membership. Professionally, I’ve served as a nonprofit Executive Director for 15 years. I’ve been interested in day trading for quite some time and have explored it in the past through other communities, but timing and alignment weren’t quite right. Even in just the first few days here, I’ve already learned more than I did previously, and I’m excited to fully commit and grow on this journey. I’ve heard great things about Andrew, the BBT leadership team, and the BBT community, and I’m grateful to be here learning alongside you all.
