This is an article abut the differences beteween focus on the outcome vs focus on the process when we are trying to reach our goals or mastering a craft, like day tarding. It’s way easier to focus on the outcome, but the outcome is out of our control. As long as that’s our focus, we´ll continue to waste energy on an outcome we can’t control. But when we choose to focus on the process — attitude, actions, skills, mindset — we shift our focus onto the things we can control.

What we need is become fully immersed in the process — studying our craft & honing our skills. If all you want to do is beat the other guy, beat the market, you allow yourself only a fraction of your abilities.
