GREEN day, walked away with $353.25 - Up $718.75 for the week. 1.80 ration with 50% strike rate and 20% Scratches.

Very tough day, not many Mid-floats to trade, traded MU and NFLX due to earnings and AMRH as low float/

Fundamentals Today

Netflix subscribers came short and brought down the Tech Sector bringing a lot of tech stops in play.

How I did per process guidelines today (RULES)

Rules for this week

  • Trade 2 - 5 trades - Did only 3 Symbols - Score 100%
  • Get out when you have Green or Respect Daily Limit- Done - Score 100%
  • Good setups with Good R:R - Score 60%
  • Use proper scaling to exit - No, left serious money on the table with MU & TWTR- Score 50%
  • Trade only 9:35 to 11:30 - Done - Score 100%
  • size appropriately - Yes, mostly..  - Score 100%

OVERALL SCORE TODAY: 75.00% (C)

Made 2 late day trades on Mid -Floats, I am beginning to love these....

Now the daily total is $451.25 with a probability of 2.02 and a 58.3% strike rate and 16.7% scratches. Not bad.

Nice trades!

I started my  Sim 45 days ago, Max long/short I am taking is 300; want to be more realistic for the first months of live trading 

Also just I saw the Auto-stop stuff; Andrews' weekly email have the link. It is great to discipline yourself

What software you are using for your journal? is that free download or should pay?

it looks like tradervue.com if I'm not mistaken, and it has monthly subscription))

Yes. SIMM trading is very good and you need to journal all your trades to learn review and improve. 

I isr tradetvue. It is an online application pretty cheap. There is a free limited use version as well.

Very nice day with easy trades, but I screwed up several on the exits and left serious money at the table...

Full of chases and bad trade management, wonder why I did not end up losing more today....

I am up over $1000 for the week - will limit my loss to max of $300 for stress free trades, also:

  1. No low float GapNGos today
  2. No first 5 minute trading
  3. proper scales and stops
  4. no more than 3 - 5 trades not 3 - 5 symbols

Green day, walked away with $591.25 - Up $1707.50 for the week. Today hit a 1.58 Ratio with 62.5% strike rate. I also only took 8 trades on 3 symbols. I was up over $580 in the first 15 minutes and had walked away. I guess I still have FOMO and than did a bad trade and managed to come back up. Ruined my ratio and strike rate though...

What is good is that I had 7 Valid trades and only 1 chase, so I am giving myself an A today.

How I did per process guidelines today (RULES)

Rules for this week

  • Trade 2 - 5 trades - Did only 2 Symbols - Score 100%
  • Get out when you have Green or Respect Daily Limit- No, let one stop over run the $500 daily per Trade Loss Limit - Score 90%
  • Good setups with Good R:R - Score 100%
  • Use proper scaling to exit - No, left serious money on the table with 1 trade but scaled well on others- Score 85%
  • Trade only 9:35 to 11:30 - Done - Score 100%
  • size appropriately - Yes, mostly..  - Score 100%

OVERALL SCORE TODAY: 95.83% (A+)

Back to my old ways..., Fell off the wagon. 

Red day, walked away with -$30.50 - Strike Rate 56.31% (including scratches) - 0.95 Ratio

Over-traded, Chased and did not Scale properly at least on 2 trades that would have been awesome...

I am embarrassed - this should not be happening. Although one good thing is I realized I was on "Tilt" so called it a day and contained damage. I need to focus on individual trades and not look at so many - I end up chasing and missing good opportunities.

Valid late day trade on MU..., break of flat bottom and rejection of moving averages. Scaled out properly. Should have gone bigger. Good R:R

Good day, did only 3 symbols today - Left serious money on the table especially on GM Short... This needs to be fixed. Not happy. Could have been a $1k day.
