It sucks but I won’t be trading this morning. I have a 9:00 am with a customer while I am traveling to Boston. 

I shall be back Friday. 

Inhave averaged $460 over the last 3 days. 

Looking forward to do the weekly recap for this unusual week.

I lied. I traded and made $160 but after 11:30 am which was a break of the rules. I will post the graphics when I land. Currently on plane to Toronto

Ended green today and for the week, unhappy with the trades , lots of chases.... Interesting observations, over the 1 month of trading, I have lost money on my longs..., and made money on my shorts. Eg. today, I have posted overall trades as well as shorts only, the shorts only are much better! Maybe I will only trade shorts for my Playbook and work on smaller size for longs while I get more comfortable...

Good trades today, the process plan this week is to go shorts mostly and basic trades. Also to size appropriately, I have actually been going too small on certain stock. I did 2 longs, 1 a fallen angel on VLRX, here I went large. I also attempted an early morning Gap N GO on ACHV chased it horribly and lost 470 the only loss for today.

Overall it is good, I also walked away in the green and closed down my station cause now is the time I will start giving it all back 🙂

On the other hand, I called a nice 5 min ORB Breakdown on SQ and also a short reversal on IQ, both which worked, one was a scaler the other a quick scalp. Happy about that 🙂

I took one late Breakdown of SQ, per Rule is was past 11:30 am but it was a A+ Setup in my playbook, it worked out.

Screw up on last SQ Trade - good entry on a good Playbook Setup with Good R:R, exited too early, I guess it was late in the day and I already sitting on a tidy Green Sum.... 😞

Rules for this week

• Trade 2 - 3 trades - Did 5 - Score 80%
• Get out when you have Green - Done - Score 100%
• Good setups with Good R:R - Done, 1 error (Chased) - Score 90%
• Use proper scaling to exit - Done, 1 error (Exited SQ too soon) - Score 90%
• Trade only 9:35 to 11:30 - (Done, took SQ after 11:30 but it was a solid setup) - Score 100%
• Trade mostly shorts - (Done, took 2 longs and 1 was the only loser in the day GapNo) - Score 90%
• size appropriately - Done... Except for the long, which I wanted go short on longs if at all I did go long today - Score 95%

OVERALL SCORE TODAY: 92.14% (A)

Red today, hit my daily limit of $500, actually $560 - Error of the day was jumping in on MU before 5 minutes and lost, eventually it did work. Got in again for the 5 minute ORB (Down) and it worked. That gave me a decent profit and that should have been the only trade of the day....

Process improvement 

Was able to respect Daily Loss limit. The MU Trade I did take for ORB was good and per Playbook.

Still Green for the week as yesterday was a good day.

I will study these after hours and post my comments.

Today's Report Card

I got a Solid D today for my trades and a B- for Process.... This is bad

I just realied looking at my trades that I have been sizing wrong. 

I took large size on all setups. Going forward I will go max size on A setups only and go 1/4 on lower setups. 

I am also grading my trades A B C etc. I will try to post a grade when I take a trade and the resulting grade. 

The other thing is I am moving up daily trade limit to 5 trades and daily loss limit to $750. 

Lets see what today brings. Focus is on process and that one good trade.

Overall Green day, walked away with $365, less than the $540 loss yesterday, but yet walked away. Overall $680 Green for the week still. 2 more days to go!

Limited to 4 trades, all winners graded 2 as A and 2 as B so scored a 85% on the Trades score, which is good.

• Trade mostly shorts - (Done, took some longs still) - Score 70%
• size appropriately - No, should have sized up on the A setups...  - Score 80%

OVERALL SCORE TODAY: 85.74% (B+)

NOTES

Still need to work on sizing and on proper scaling exits, leaving too much money on table. Focus is on those 2 areas. I am getting better at my setups though.  I guess I am at the level of consistency.

Did well:

Walked away Green, entered good trades with good R:R
Did not Overtrade (kept to 4 trades) and within Time Limits

Improvements

Need to size bigger on A setups
Need to scale exits properly on A setups (Left Money at the Table)
