Stop-Limit Orders

I'm wondering if anyone uses buy or sell stop-limit orders to trade breakouts with their day trading.

I'd be curious if you'd be willing to share your experience.

I think it may depend on when you are trading the breakout, and the volatility of the stock.  Stop loss guarantees you will get out, while stop limit guarantees the price.  
I trade breakouts at the open and would be concerned with my stop not getting filled if there is a sudden move against my position, then I would have to scramble to get out with a market order which would probably be worse then the stop loss price.  If you are trading a breakout later in the day the stop-limit may make more sense - but again depends on volatility.
