We just updated guidelines for recaps submission, please read!

Hi guys… we're opening our BBT Youtube channel for our day traders to show their trades as a LEARNING EXPERIENCE for all!

  • One video recap per day per trader Real Account trades (day trading)
  • 5 min max video. Choose one or two trades so you can stay in this limit.
  • Explain a little bit about yourself: time in spent sim, time trading real account, etc.
  • This is a learning experience for all:  Explain the strategy / pattern, your entries & exits, stop loss, reasons to entry / exit, what did you right / wrong; explain risk:reward and give your advice / tips to fellow traders.
  • Use 1920 x 1080 resolution. We can't accept lower resolutions as youtube has trouble with them. You can use free software OBS Studio to record your video and Epic Pen (Free) as Screen Marker and Desktop Annotation tool.
  • Be sure to record your video with good volume. If you have trouble getting a good audio volume, you can try http://www.videolouder.com/ it’s a free service that allows you to increase the sound volume of video files... (H/T  @Robert H)
  • Hide your user name in the status bar of DAS (Tools > Uncheck “Status Bar”)
  • Remember that you always can post your videos here in the forums if you look for feedback or accountability (start a personal Journal in the forums)

Send your video to [email protected] and let us know your name / nickname to use in the video description. You can use a cloud service like Google Drive. Also, it would be great if you send us a headshot for the  YouTube thumbnail. It would be nice if traders are available to answer questions posted in their youtube videos...

Send your recaps!

I  sent 2 recap videos , one yesterday and one today. I think I did everything I was suppose to but not sure if the quality was good. I left email to reply back if I was doing something wrong  but haven't received any input. Please let me know what, if anything, I'm doing wrong and need to work on with making a recap video.

Thanks,

Brian
