VAD indicator in DAS

Wondering if anybody has insight on this indicator.  When i put it on the main candle over lay I am not sure where this line starts, since I can drap chart around up down and around it.  My thinking is you place it on the opening price. Seems to be giving some great accumulation distribution divergences along with anomolies around closes and aftermarket,  I have it set as at 9 in the settings.

Would be great if we can setup a scanner to alert for  divergences.
