Quick Takeaway from Peter Tuchman's Webinar

Hello Everyone. I attended an earlier webinar and I wanted to share a few points. I apologize for my shorthand. I will do what I can to explain it. But overall what I realized, and others may feel the same, they do similar things like some at BBT.

- 9/15 EMAs similar to Brian’s 9/20 EMAs -> get in a pullback within a strong trend

- pivot points and stronger EMAs (65, 200) are stronger targets for either support or resistance similar to what I've seen with the BBT community

- big on risk management:

-> trades needs stop orders,

-> must adhere to your rules like when to call it day from loss or when you hit your goal for the day

-> use limit orders based on MAs and pivot points

- no real volume considerations with a strong focus on MAs and pivot points

Overall, I am all for learning, especially since I am new to trading. I hope this helps.

I created this post by request that came up during Thor's mentoring session last night. Essentially, members had questions and comments about the Peter Tuchman webinar. I added my comments to the chat and Thor had some similar comments. Another member asked me to share my thoughts here in a post.

I have no charts or any material from the webinar. I believe others who attended might have some screenshots.

FYI -  I did find a YouTube video showing his live trading on Benzinga. It gives an idea of how he trades.

The BBT chat had a major discussion back and forth abt the benefit of  the Peter Tuchman webinar.  I asked for someone to provide the take away from the webinar for those who missed it.  @Saint_K was kind to present his opinions in the first post, for which I am grateful.

I note that his feedback is positive, but the info provided by PeterT is from a retail traders perspective.  I believe that most BBT members attended expecting info from the market makers view (PeterT is a market maker) which would help a retail/independent trader to improve.

Basically what I get from the chat room and Saint_K information is the PeterT presentation is content related to basic retail trading, and not market making activities, which would allow retail traders to improve results.
