Moving Your Stop

Many times when explaining a scenario in his book, Andrew will say, “I sold a portion of my shares and then moved my stop up to the break even point”

 

i get what he is doing, but I’m wondering this:

 

 

 

Is he setting a stop loss in DAS or just mentally saying he will exit the trade manually at the new stop loss point?

He uses a mental stop loss and exits the trade manually via hotkeys.
