Trying to figure out a half share size regime

Heard @PeterD talking about it somewhere like the webinar or in chatroom but cant remember exactly what he outlined or where he said it.
Like go to half size when- tired, heading towards going on tilt, bad day, deep into the red or black...

When do you guys decide to go to half size lots?
