haeyoon1 0 Posted April 9, 2018 Hi I've been experiencing price discrepancies in my open positions window to my account reports. I noticed this when my p/l wasn't adding up correctly then I contacted DAS and they said that the prices I was getting on my trades were on my account report, those are the most accurate. So my question is why is my open positions window not showing the correct accurate price I'm getting on my trades? I asked DAS and they didn't really have any answers. haeyoon1 0 Posted April 10, 2018 Hi Robert, I was able to take a screenshot of the trades window along with the other ones. All of the prices seem to match up today though and I think it's because I changed my hotkeys. Before I had it setup as buy: Ask+.02 and sell: Bid-.02. So I'm not sure if that had something to do with the prices matching up except the price I covered $WATT at (19.32 in the positions window and 19.30 everywhere else) have you experienced anything like this before? https://imgur.com/a/u5abq Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Robert H 453 Posted April 10, 2018 I haven't experienced anything like this before. But maybe that's cause I've never looked at my closed positions in the Orders window. My suspicion is that the price you see in the Orders window is the price sent by your hotkey (bid/ask +/-). While the price in the Trades and Account window is the simulated fill price. That would explain the discrepancy. Maybe try reverting your hotkeys back and comparing again? So we can rule the hotkey out of the equation. Note I always look at the Trades window as the official record. The Orders window is only for open orders (stop or limit order, etc.). I turn off the setting to 'Show Closed Orders'. haeyoon1 0 Posted April 11, 2018 Hi Robert - so after changing my hotkeys back there wasn't much of a discrepancy this time except for my exit price on $TVIX but I think you're right that the positions window has something to do with what my hotkeys are set at.
