Hotkey for a specific montage

Recommended Posts

This is a weird one so if there are any tech guys here let me know if you can figure this out. Sometimes at the open I may be in two different stocks at the same time and it can get fairly chaotic. I don't do this often but sometimes the opportunity presents itself. When this does occur I often make mistakes on which stock I am trying to partial as I am keyed up on the wrong montage. I then have to get my mouse and move to the montage, click and then use my streamdeck to partial. Is it possible to have a hotkey assigned to a montage? For instance if I just click a button highlighting a certain montage which will allow me to not use my mouse, then I can partial and click a different hotkey that highlights a different montage with another active position?

In a way, yes it is.

You have to right-click the titlebar of the Montage window and give it a name. For this example, we'll give it "MONTAGEA". Then prepend your hotkey script with this:

FocusWindow MONTAGEA;

That selects the montage with the name "MONTAGEA" and any script that follows will process on that montage.
