Before you buy u can test the software and functionality on your phone.  They offer a software version with full functionality for $3 per month on phone.

I used to dev my keys etc. and get a good feel of if I should use.  Neva bought the hardware.  Used a old phone.   Good luck.

Stream Deck seems to be a popular solution in this community. I just want to provide an alternative solution for your reference. It's a programmable mechanical keypad:

I like it because it's mechanical so it's more reliable and the number of the keys is enough for my trading hotkeys.

I use label printers to print labels and put them on the keys. After using it for a while, I'm able to press the keys without looking at the labels.
